This morning on "This Week" on ABC, she was pressed about garnishing wages (to pay for her Health Insurance program) and dodged it a few times before saying,
"George, there will be an enforcement mechanism, whether it is that or something else."
So she is open to the idea of garnishing wages. Her words.
Go ahead Conservatives, stay home or vote 3rd party. Please let us know who you are afterwords. We will really want to know who you are.
Mclame is right there in her bosom.
No offense, but we’ll go ahead and hold the election anyway. As for who should have to do what afterwards, I guess its a good thing you’re not King.
How about YOU stop telling people who to vote for. Our country is still a free one. You think mclame is better than hill? Perhaps YOU’RE the one who should renounce his citzenship and get the hell out!
Give Boy George credit for not letting her off the hook after she ducked the question the first time. He all but dragged the admission out of her.
How is the government forcing you to buy a service from one of a list of approved vendors different than a tax?
Most of the problems with healthcare in this country are the result of government interference. Specifically, hospitals cannot refuse care based on ability to pay. People without assets prefer to let the hospitals (read: other patients) underwrite their care.
Back in the day, these freeloaders would be consigned to charity wards, usually in church affiliated hospitals, where care was more or less adequate, if the accomodations were sparse.
In addition, the government makes private insurance unnecessarily expensive by requiring you to purchase expensive coverage for things like drug rehabilitation that are of theraputically dubious value, but lavishly expensive. Very few people would purchase these kinds of policies with their own money.
And the government gives the doctors’ union (the AMA) virtual monopoly control over entry into the field. Think what having your kitchen redone would cost if you had to go through a government approved vendors whose numbers were strictly controlled by the suppliers.
Remind me again how this is any different from Mitt’s MA plan.

Hey...this is America and people still have a right to vote for who they please.That poster has just as much right to be here as you do. It’s not your country but OUR country.
She wont get it. The people may like getting freebies, but once they discover it will involve forcibly garnishing their wages, they will revolt. They will not stand for that.
She said that ‘automatic enrollment’ is an option...iow, start a new job and on day one your private sector employer would be forced by law to enroll you in the program.
Quit lying about whom? Which one did I get wrong?
