Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

No.

Ronald Reagan picked George Bush, who called his economic plan ‘voodoo economics’.

It was George H.W. Bush who picked Dan Quayle and the only possible reason i have ever heard is the ‘John Edwards’ effect; i.e. he was a pretty-boy.

But other than that BRILLIANT ANALYSIS.

Not a good way to pick a candidate.

At this moment the thought of any of the four we saw tonight causes me to retch. I have no idea of what to do or how to go about doing it. I am repulsed by what is left of our Party and none of these men deserve the office that they seek to hold.

Mitt quoted the Constitution’s “no religious test” clause as a defense mechanism IMO allmendream, he was spot on about it, but still.

Reagan understood Greatness, I’ve seen optimism from Mitt, but not an appeal to Greatness of America as of yet, Reagan could quote Churchill with aplomb, Romney is not there, none of them are really “there” yet.

If one wanted to see Reagan’s bad side, when there was a small debate in New Hampshire he went off on GHWB and reminded the assemblage that he was paying for the building, and darn it, the debate was going to be run the way he wanted it to be run!

Fun stuff indeed.

Rice has never been elected to anything. She’s smart, but I have not been impressed with her time at the State department.

And since Romney is running on “change”, I doubt he’d pick a white house insider as his running mate.

“I think a lot of democrats will cross over to Romney no matter who gets the Dem nod.”

wow, good point..He’s just centrist enough to attract a lot of democratic votes to him, especially if he generates enough charisma while debating whomever the Dems put up against him...Especially if he selects Rudy as running mate...

He may not be the Conservative we are looking for, but as long as he doesn’t get way out in left field, he might be the right guy at the right time...and have coattails too, to bring in Reps to Congress...we have to think of that too...tough choices to make...

I’m still not sold on McCain...When he mentioned his best Dem friend was Joe Lieberman i couldn’t believe it...Was almost waitin for him to say we’re going 3rd Party...

Reverse discrimination re: Mitt Romney. Mitt can’t ugly himself up to satisfy voters who are biased against tall, dark and handsome.

We all had a chance to “draft” better candidates. We could have all put up a defense of “macaca” (sp?) and had another candidate, but what we have is what we have earned and deserve.

Why do you now want to tear us down and hurt any chances we have for Judicial appointments. What pleasure is there in being negative?

Would Hillary be better?

It is never too late to try to effect the actions of our candidate.

McCain’s said “in 1892” during his litany. Nobody else caught that?

The criticism is because the poster accused Romney of being a lawbreaker, of infidelity, and other acts for which there is absolutely NO evidence, and which go against everything that is known of the man throughout his career.

Of course, we know Rudy cheated on his wife, because we saw it and he admits it.

To accuse a man of having an illegitimate child without any evidence? That’s pathetic.
