There is no way anyone watched that debate and didn’t note the DIFFICULT questions to Romney/Rudy and the softballs to McCain/Huckabee.
Not asking McCain about “comprehensive immigration reform”?! Outrageous>
Winner: Mitt
Place: Rudy
Show: who cares

Charles, I’m going to have to respectfully disagree if you think Mitt is a conservative.

As Reagan proved, the tent is big enough - people just have to be smart enough to get in.

To: TCats
I think they all did great. The most likeable and winnable in the general elections is still Huck.

Frankly, I don’t think I have ever seen Romney any better.
Msmbc says Romney won the economic part of this debate!
To: GlennBeck08
Bingo! Media turns Republican debates into sound bite fest of LIB questions!

I don’t think the question was about Huckabee’s faith, but the way he uses faith to almost excuse or explain his tax-raising and support for illegals.
To: LordBridey
“Huck demonstrates his peerless communication skills discussing faith.”
Which is why he should go back to his calling—to be a pastor.

They did get the softball question, but it doesn’t really help them because softball questions lead to softball answers and makes no impression.
Romney got a lot of tough questions, so did Guiliani, and they came out of it great because they gave good answers.

Romney wins this debate, easily. Very impressive. Only one weak answer (2nd Amendment), at least five or six very strong ones.
