The United States is so broke, its people at every level from the Federal Reserve on down don't know whether to shit or go blind.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

B-Chan, you are MY kind of writer. I suspect you are Canadian, as I am, with the blind expression.

Now I will call you B-samma, instead of B-chan.

But I agree with your thesis.America has nothing to fear but fear itself.

And we have the MSM, the Dems, and every liberal's dog howling in the night that we are all gonna recede.

Well, that was entertaining in a Dr. Strangelove sort of way.

I believe the American (and for that matter, global) economy is stronger that the panic-seekers in the press would have us believe. Remember, making people think the economy is bad is very good in an election year. If you're a Democrat.

Typical hyperbolic B.S. coming from the dweebs of Wall Street, the limp-wristed pasty-faced quants who love to use testosterone-laden language so they can pretend that their paper games are manly.

They know they can’t drive a nail, much less drive a truck.

And once Hillary is elected the economy miraculously makes a change for the better and we will live happily ever after, according to the MSM.

Sleaze bags handing out government guaranteed mortgages to non working (underemployed?) people is no recipe for economic growth.

On the other hand, a military action that will stabilize oil producing countries ultimately might put a lid on energy costs.

Maybe.

We shall see what happens.

The stooge writer is dutifully substituting what he’s been told must replace the democrat war disaster mantra, since the war went ahead and got fixed by the hard work and blood of real patriots. The democrats must have a major diversion, immediately! Heave the ‘journalists’ to create econominc panic as easily as they created economic paradise for the clintons / democrats to bask in.

I hate humor I have to think about.

Oh, well, when in trouble or in doubt, run in circles scream and shout!

We’re doombed!

Bump.

Just last week was writing and posting about the slide of the dollar against other currencies and was roundly criticized.

This looks bad and tomorrow may tell us more about where the economy is headed.

Another reason for Fred Thompson.

I wonder if the writer of this article is related to the late, unlamented radical lawyer, William Kunstler?

IF “global markets” are falling, it’s their own fault for listening to CNN, believing that a demonRAT is going to win the election (Hillary’s “cures” for the “bad” economy scared me too, I must admit...), OR doing their part to artificially hold up the value of the Euro (can you say ‘argentina’?).

As for myself? I think they will recover, just as ours will, although I don’t believe they will ever be as healthy as we are. Call it nativism if you will...

For those who made bad mortgage loans to those they KNEW couldn’t pay- learn to enjoy this kick in your greedy little pants. Perhaps you will learn from it. Everything has an up side.

I own my home free and clear, there’s enough in the savings accounts to keep up with property taxes, and I have several acres of fertile ground. Plenty of deer around here, too. Y’all have a nice time during the “Panic of ‘08”. Yahtzee, anyone?

Probably my favorite line on the dang article was this one:

**** The homeowners cringing in the media rooms of their 5000-square-foot personal family resorts don't know how long they can stay put microwaving pepperoni hot pockets with the default clock ticking. ****

I don't know how you would put that in Japanese, but it would be very entertaining at least, for most Japanese readers, who want to gain some idea about what it has come to in largely indifferent, dumbed-down, opiated Britney Spears 24/7 Middle America while the North Koreans--who can survive weeks upon end on tree bark--are ready to launch chems and bios at hundreds of thousands of American servicemen, civilians and Japanese in the archipelago due to large unnoticed policies that would make Neville Chamberlain smile.

Maybe it would be:

米国の国家倒産時計により秒読み問題に普通なアメリカ人家庭が恐ろしい表情をしながらジャンクフードをマイクローウェブをして幻いい豪華な6LDKセカンドハウスで来る日が来るまでに情けなく待っているだけに過ぎない。
