I hope he rips him to shreds.

That’s right - tomorrow is MLK day. Enjoy your holiday. I personally found Hillary’s comments re MLK and LBJ despicable.Would it be in bad taste if Rush or whomever reminded people of what she said?

Also, someone needs to get the transcript of this show, because I swear I heard one of the women (dark hair) say that most Americans “go to Applebees’ on Friday night”. In other words, she was being extremely condescending re “the average American”. The whole conversation in this part of the show was reminiscent of the elites trying to figure out “the little people”. Spit.

Schumer and Charlie Waggle, darlings of the stalinist movement, on the air pimping to day for the so called stimulus package for the “middle” class.

Of course, they want the non income tax payers to get some money, too. Free money everyone! So they will be taking money from the cash that actual taxpayers will continue to pay, and give it to those who receive a paycheck or are on medicaid.

All this is is a pre-election sham to shore up the illegal vote.

All those using false identities will receive money.

Screw this. Are we going to stand for this folks?

You’re going to pay more than you get!

This opens the door for what they want, permenant FICA forgiveness for those who do not pay taxes, but who will still be eligible for all government services. About $800 dollars to you, $20,000 back to each illegal in services.

How about some outrage!

This is not about a recession, which we are not in!

GWB, again, what could you be thinking?

In the interest of fairness (/s), I approve of the media black out on the candidacies of Cynthia McKinney and Cindy Sheehan. COL

The media is terrified of Rush’s quarter hour audience as it is.

They’d have a collective coronary if the listeners were counted in the way you suggested.

I think Johnnie got another “time out” last night. He was walin’ pretty hard on some guy and then - suddenly - no more Johnnie!

BTW when one is suspended, how long does said suspension usually last?

Not that I would ever be in jeopardy of being so afflicted.

Yes, you did hear that. It was Michele Norris of NPR, and yes, it was very condescending.

Well my take is that the media believe that in the national election Romney actually has a chance of winning but McCain does not so they want to promote McCain not Romney to ensure that a dem and really Hilliary wins the White House.

That’s funny. I come home on Friday nights and play with my kids and usually fix dinner.

As for MLK I think he’s in heaven terribly upset that the people who supposedly are carrying on his “dream” have completely disregarded his hope that one day “people will be judged by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin”.

Yeah that's all true, but in the end, if it looks like hillary will not have a shot without oblama, stranger things have happened.

We need to take a page from the Dem/rats play book. They are united far better than we are and it hurts us from time to time.

For example. There is nothing too grievous foul, illegal or bad a demorat can do that will not be forgiven by the party whole if necessary, ever hear of William Jefferson of NO?

Now I am not advocating that we go that route! If one of ours gets out of line we deal with them in a fair and just manner.

But we need to support one another a lot better than we have if we want to get the socialists out of Congress and keep them out of the White House.

“What would Bill’s role be in a Hillary White House?”. Easy: He’ll be the attack dog. Just as he is now...

No, remember, he's "President Clinton"

And you didn’t help that along with the Admin with your actions in last weekends thread.

Hope you aren’t hurting your arm patting yourself on the back.

Your gloating has no place in this thread.

Rush isn’t joining satellite any time soon, although Beck is already there. Let’s be honest— if he were to join he’d have to have the whole Howard Stern treatment, exclusivity, private channel, etc. They couldn’t just plop him on a talk channel and expect him to sell. The problem is that Rush doesn’t want to shrink his audience via a subscription only system. “24/7” is enough for him.

Although an all-Rush channel on XM (XM has an exclusive deal with Rush’s syndicator) would be neat... Rush live plus an exclusive “fourth hour,” followed by simulcasts of the people who guest host for him like Jason Lewis and Mark Belling, and replays of the show on the overnights. Something to chew on...

Rush’s problem has never been the FCC, it’s been political pressures which will stay around however he does his show, and he has little to gain by jumping to satellite.

As for Boortz, I don’t know if Cox Radio (Boortz’s syndicator) has the capability to put the show up there.

Wow, Schieffer is bashing Tommy Franks. First he thinks to lecture Franks on how to fight a war, and now he's talking about Franks taking money for the use of his name to raise money for wounded veterans.

I'll have to look into that second accusation, but the idea that Bob Schieffer, with about 5 years experience in the Air Force as a PAO, has anything to useful to contribute on military strategy to a general with 36 years of experience as a combat officer is laughable on its face.

He cited "the first rule of warfare" as "only invading when you have an overwhelming advantage." Since when is the Powell Doctrine "the first rule of warfare?" Maybe Schieffer ought to go back and lecture Alexander the Great on why he shouldn't have invaded the Persian Empire, the largest empire in history at the time, with only 42,000 men. Then he could explain why Caesar was a fool for attempting to conquer Gaul with less than 50,000 men, when his enemy could muster more than six times that number.

What an idiot.

Hillary will not need a VP w/Bill in the house. But if by chance one is elected (BIG if, I hope and pray), he/she will have to make do w/a basement broom closet for an office w/no phone or staff.
