That’s right - tomorrow is MLK day. Enjoy your holiday. I personally found Hillary’s comments re MLK and LBJ despicable.Would it be in bad taste if Rush or whomever reminded people of what she said?
Also, someone needs to get the transcript of this show, because I swear I heard one of the women (dark hair) say that most Americans “go to Applebees’ on Friday night”. In other words, she was being extremely condescending re “the average American”. The whole conversation in this part of the show was reminiscent of the elites trying to figure out “the little people”. Spit.
Yes, you did hear that. It was Michele Norris of NPR, and yes, it was very condescending.
That’s funny. I come home on Friday nights and play with my kids and usually fix dinner.
As for MLK I think he’s in heaven terribly upset that the people who supposedly are carrying on his “dream” have completely disregarded his hope that one day “people will be judged by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin”.
I heard that ... totally condescending
and cheap. Shows how completely out-of-
touch with the real America these elitist
phonies with faux jobs are.
Since her comment (when it is not shortened to DBM length) starts out by saying that John Kennedy could not get it done, but Lyndon Johnson could, because of Johnson's political experience.
Now, letting the world know that Hillary said something bad about Saint John the Kennedy should have more impact on liberals than a mere slap at Martin Luther King, shouldn't it?
