Today is the day.
LOL, I caught it after I hit post. Nerves are too frazzled for clear thinking tonight.
Greenville County is 0% reported. So are some of the counties where Fred was supposed to do well. I think McCain will win, but Thompson could move far enough ahead to claim a strong 3rd yet.
Sounds like sour grapes.
What color are independents?
(not serious, just trying to make a point)
Well, hurry it up, Greenville. :) (Who needs sports?)
Fred’s an actor? Gee, maybe you’re right—for president? Gosh I don’t think an actor would . . .
wait a second!
Even if Fred drops out, he snookered ‘em. Funny how the poor audio and camera shaking weren’t there when I switched to CNN.
Go Fred! Brit, thanks for reading FR. I heard you call us Fred-Heads.
>>Can anyone explain the order in which the candidates are listed? Its not alphabetical, it certainly isnt in the order of number of votes (2, 1, 4, 3...)

The most spirited speech of his campaign was the halfhearted concession speech we just watched. The guy's a non-starter. Being in Hollywood, I know an actor when I see one... and the only thing worse than being an actor is being a bad actor.
McCain 48,688 35% 0
Huckabee 41,008 29% 0
Thompson 21,160 15% 0
Romney 20,436 15% 0

Hunter 316 0% 0
>>Alphabetical, by last name.<<
That’s true for those first ones but then Guiliani comes after Thompson.
Rudy Guiliani was below Thompson.
Beautfort also reporting 0% which tells me Mcshame will win this tonight.
The only good news here is that Huckabee isn’t winning. I think Romney easily beats McCain one on one. This is another stupid open primary so McCain is getting a lot of help from our enemies.
Thompson just jumped ahead of Romney 15% -14%.
So is it Hillary or Obama for you?
Thompson opening up on Romney.. now up 1500 on him.
I think that was Fred’s good-bye speech and he was trying to keep his eyes from tearing and his voice broke at times. He knows if he can’t win SC with all the work he put in, he’s not going to win any state including Florida. I expect him to drop out after he confers with whomever he wants to endorse.
