I think that was Fred’s good-bye speech and he was trying to keep his eyes from tearing and his voice broke at times. He knows if he can’t win SC with all the work he put in, he’s not going to win any state including Florida. I expect him to drop out after he confers with whomever he wants to endorse.

Agreed. I’m just afraid he’ll endorse McCain.

I was thinking that the best speech at the convention will not be delivered by the nominee, but by Fred. What a shame.

Can’t wait to see how the FRedheads spin it when Fred endorses McCain and it becomes painfully clear he was a shill all along.

I fear you are right. All my fellow FredHeads who are still optimistic at this point must not have a good command of mathematics. Fred didn’t win or pull off a 2nd, and he can’t at this point in SC for sure, and he won’t in FL.

Then comes Super Tuesday. IMPOSSIBLE to get his message across to all those states. He gets zero positive media coverage. He can’t do all this on his own, even with so many of us helping.

It’s just so WRONG but it’s the truth.

I wish he were 55 and not 65 so he’d consider going Veep to Romney. How old is McCain again?

Fred can keep his name on the ballot right? Does that cost him money?
But yeah, if it’s not realistic to get the nomination, he might as well drop out, save people’s time and money. I’m sure he’s tired.

Mitt is now in FL campaigning and giving speeches. The energy this guy has at 60 years of age is inspiring.
