Don’t kid yourself...the Dims AND the MSM will give their eye teeth for McCain and/or Huckabee to be our ticket.

I’d like to think he will, but we live in an age where folks who claim to be conservative, don’t know what one is, and therefore won’t vote for one when there are two running.

Mitt’s the man. Mike’s the man. John’s the man. Rudy is the man.

Okay, so we spend another four years looking for the real man and that side of him never materializes. Remember listening to Mahamed Ali fights and thinking, he’s just about to break out of the rope-a-dope... any second now, he’s going to do it, just a little longer... and then the bell rings for the last round? That’s what four years of watching a RINO in the White House is like. The only difference is you’re actually freaked by the idea they’ll actually do something during the last year, because you know it’s going to be ‘for the legacy’ and that scares the bajesus out of you.

Back to ground zero in four years. I’ll be too busy to vote for another RINO in November. I’ve had my fill. When others get through screwing around perhaps we’ll get serious and nominate someone with some cajones, that actually knows what a conservative principle is.

"Thompson is at the bottom again. Very dissapointing."

Looks like he garnered more votes than Giuliani and Hunter. I'd say that warrants as not coming in at the bottom. He didn't campaign in Michigan either.

CNN, MSNBC, The Food Network and TV Land all confirm.

Yes, it was just breaking news on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN-Deport the Illegals, the 47 Fox Sport channels, and the Weather Channel also.

Because they think he’d be easier to beat than McCain b/c McCain is more moderate/liberal, which, oddly, they think most Americans are.

Mitt Romney won overwhelmingly among voters that described themselves as very conservative.

Mitt is the obvious conservative choice.

With Thompson and Romney splitting the traditional conservative vote, and Huck getting the evangelical big government “I’ll put god back in the constitution” vote, how do you think this will play out well for conservatives?

Good. Head to Head, I’d pick Romney over McCain any day

Ditto that, but I'm thinking Fred is the best and hope he can win in the end. But at least I won't be gagging in Nov if Romney is on the ballot. McCain has totally worn me out between campaign finance, opposing tax cuts and amnesty for illegals -- just way too many years in DC for that guy. He's been sucked into the dark side, IMHO.

"Romney is going to be the Republican party’s nominee. Better get used to it."

The guy is a phoney. He'll NEVER get my vote. It's Hunter, Thompson or third party for me.

Romney has not only won, but Thompson’s numbers dropped from 8% in the polls to (at my last check) 4% at the ballot box. This is behind Ron Paul, which is a bit embarrassing.

I do not say this to bash Thompson. I think it’s clear that half of Thompson’s support jumped to Romney - a 4% boost. We Romney supporters owe Thompson supporters acknowledgment and appreciation.

Fred got 1% in NH and 4% in Michigan, and he is the most widely supported as being the solid conservative. He may be able to pull it off but its not looking good.
