Yep. It is hardly surprising that it can be passed through gay (or straight, for that matter) sex - skin on skin is the usual vector. Gay sex, especially unprotected anal sex, carries with it a unique set of bacterial challenges but my guess is that promiscuity is more of an issue in this case.
And MRSA is very, very nasty once it gets started. If you can get it on the surface with alcohol you'll do OK; if it's in a place where alcohol can't reach you play the antibiotic roulette; if it's where antibiotics find it difficult to reach you've got a real problem.
Cleanliness, monogamy, and common sense are looking like awfully good advice. Radical, huh?
That’s right. Instead of just advising against gay sex. They couldn’t do that, see. It might “offend” homosexuals.

Of course it can be spread by casual contact, after it is been grown in the Petri dish of some orifice and they spread it by casual contact with straight people.
I once complained about fecal matter on a washbowl in a public restroom where homosexuals were known to have sex. The store response was “AND?”. My advice is to avoid all public restrooms if at all possible.

these gays need to get mental health help as there is nothing about their sexual behaviour also I took a trip up to boston not long ago and these homo’s are walking around these woods called blue hills just looking to have sex with a strange man then they go to public toilets.
The blue hills got so bad that they had to close the park at night now because of gay activity
We stopped at some toilets on the high weay as my youngest kid wanted the bathroom, the place was infested with men hanging around waiting to have sex with other men who turned up .
My youngest daughter now wanted to know why those men were all looking at each other and then holding hands into the toilet.

MRSA can make for some nasty sores. Imagine having this stuff up your rectum or on your you-know-what.
Isn't that drug Vancomycin? There is also a nasty bug called VRE (Vancomycin Resistant).
Anyone want to guess who gets to pay for their treatment? Once again, the "alternative lifestyle" crowd will force the American taxpayers to pay for a problem resulting from behavior most of us find against God and nature. But, we're the bad guys.
