Just heard Hucklbee talk on Hannity,Any statement about his record is an attack,I.d like him to answer one question with a yes or a no.I hope the public sees through him,he remains me of a Bill Clinton

It’s amazing to me that such vitriol gets unleashed here against conservatism. Leftist, anti-American websites are quoted as gospel since they go against Ron Paul. The fact that Ron Paul’s platform mirrors the longtime Republican platform is lost by what seem to be newbie Republicans who believe that a giant Nanny-State is the way to go, with a huge Federal Government Education Department, Imperial Executive, etc.
Frankly, I’m astonished. Although I don’t agree with Dr. Paul on everything, and I think Duncan Hunter has very conservative views and Fred Thompson seems to be honestly conservative, too, it is very difficult not to support his candidacy if one truly believes in the Constitution’s relevance today.

Kind of off topic, but also kind of not:
As I was watching the debate, I got a call from a political polling organization. The pollster lost interest in asking me any more questions when she found out that I was a strong conservative, of middle age who never missed voting in any election.
I guess they only wanted to know how young, liberal, non- voters were planning to vote.

In the era of the Republican Revolution. I think coattails may have played a bit of a role in his election...

Thompson occassionaly says something pro-life but he clearly sees his view of ultra-federalism as much more important and has gone out of his way to alianate us this election cycle. Us? Why don't you simply speak for yourself.
BTW, do you have a problem with Fred when he says that Roe v. Wade should be overturned?

Someone try to tell me now that Fred ain't got fire in his belly. Go ahead...I dare you! LOL. Hopefully we have seen the last of the no-fire in the belly nonsense. Of course they might now say he has too much fire in the belly and needs to calm down....LOL!

Maybe that is why Hunter has been excluded from the debates: he is very good and makes excellent arguments and would make McCain and Huckabee look bad.

Someone try to tell me now that Fred ain't got fire in his belly. Go ahead...I dare you! LOL. Judge Napolitano is the biggest abuser of that line. He'll eat his words tomorrow. I believe I'll call the show (Brian and the Judge) again and get his reaction. He'll be back peddling tomorrow. His favorite guy, RuPaul, was a joke at best tonight.

Next to Thompson/Hunter, I like Thompson/Santorum. Either would be awesome.

Ron Paul delivered more than his share of nuttiness. The worst moment came when Brit Hume asked what the hell he was talking about, and then Hume had to repeat the question when Paul played deaf. He had just scolded everyone else on the stage for a rash reaction to the Iranian gunboat question when all of the candidates had supported the decision of the commanders not to fire, and then made it clear that he hadnt paid attention to their answers. LOL!! That was great.
I wish someone had mentioned the USS Cole when Paul said (paraphrasing) "we were ready to go to war with Iran over five little boats!"
Mr. Paul, one little boat did this ...
... and killed 17 US sailors.
One little boat.

Huckabee just said Ronald Reagan would be running as a Liberal, if he was running today! He certainly did!
Ping!
