Republican Presidential Candidate Debate #15 Myrtle Beach, SC 01/10/08 - Official Discussion Thread
Watch the Republican presidential primary candidates debate in Myrtle Beach, S.C., live on FOX News Channel and FOXNews.com at 9 p.m. ET.
Thank you.
That’s an interesting strategy for Fred and McCain, having Fred help McCain by pointing out his most vulnerable issue on national television.
Woo-hoo!
OH Horsecrap! Fred reached up Huck’s a$$, grabbed him by the tongue and ripped him inside out!
Whatever you’re smoking isn’t legal.
“How about Thompson/Romney 08?”
That’s the one I like - a little strange, but unbeatable.
FRED COMING UP ON HANNITY .. NEXT.

Debate Winners

Fred Thompson owned this debate. He owned it. He dominated.
And Brit Hume won. He beat down Ron Paul beater than anyone else.
Loser: Amanda, the Luntz person who thought Fred’s humor sounded flippant.
Fall back loser: Mitt Romney. He did little wrong, but he flubbed the retort to Ron Paul and he didn’t have enough air time with Michigan coming so soon.

WOO HOO!
I'd have to say I get that same feeling, like listening to a slick salesman.
“You sound like a cheerleader...”
what are you talking about
“”Thomas Jeffersons in Iraq any more, my friend. Saddam Hussien killed them all.
Wow he said that? Gotta hand it to mcpain once in a while he gets in a zinger.””
I know, but it helps when it is against the loathsome Colmes.
I have never put a lot of stock in Luntz.
Hope so. Huckaphony made an appeal for money in one of his responses.
Gotta be as good as if not better than the weekend debates that had to run up against NFL Playoffs.
I missed it live and don’t have cable. Does anyone have a link to watch a replay of the debate?
LMAO! Thanks!
Dig deeply to see
a) what the candidate actually DID and SAY before Immigration became such a hot topic in this 2008 Election
b) where his money has come from and from where it continues to come
c) whom his advisors, brain trusts and endorsers are and whom these inner cirlce advisors would probably be
Often you get a much different picture when you look at things in this deeper way of analytical due diligence, rather than falling for the surface, insincere press releases, websites, positions papers and sound bites all whipped up in a rushed frenzy for votes.
I would say there is no shortage of average Americans who are docile, stupid, lazy, easily *wowed* and don't get past the slick campaign PR fluff designed in marketing bull sessions in the back rooms, and will just go and vote on surface issues. (I personally think Freepers are more clever and informed than that.)
Same way they sell us, Modern American TV-based culture, soap and iPhones and Britney Spears, and Lord knows what else, and the sheeple gobble it up like automotons anyway.
Hucklebee is so full of shi-t.He always dances around the question.
Sorry
Just so excited for Fred.
BTW...Hats off to Britt for an outstanding job tonight. Chris Wallace was up to his old tricks...McCain had 2 questions and 2 rebuttals before Wallace ever called on Fred. But Britt was fair and so were Carl and Wendell.
McCain is McNasty... He was rambling at the start tonight. Fred was great -- loved seeing him go after the Huckster from the outset. I wish Fox News had given him a bit more time and opportunity. But he made the most of those opportunities.
The Huckster was hiding most of the night hoping he wouldn't be asked a difficult foreign policy question (like where are the borders of Pakistan?). What a lightweight.
