Republican Presidential Candidate Debate #15 Myrtle Beach, SC 01/10/08 - Official Discussion Thread
Watch the Republican presidential primary candidates debate in Myrtle Beach, S.C., live on FOX News Channel and FOXNews.com at 9 p.m. ET.
ROFLMBO! Are you cracked? Fred did awesome tonight, and most of the people who watched this seem to agree.
Ignore them, Paulvestites have robot responses. He could have farted up there and they would claim it was the best answer and smelled like roses.
Fred will nominate conservative judges.
He believes he can put NY, Ohio, California, Penn, NJ, Conn, Oregon, Wash, Ill in play, and he may be right.
Fred Thompson won this debate no doubt,at least he got alittle more time to talk this time.
I just watched the focus group about 5-10 mins ago when they came on, and everyone thought Fred won the debate.
For all the people that want to be left alone, why would they send their cell phone number to FOX and tell them who they voted for?
Tennessee has Super Tuesday, Feb 5...
But we also have early voting starting on Wednesday, MJanuary 16, for about 10 days
That’s next week...
FRed up next on HC.
You don't understand the south then.... That Attack just won Fred a whole bunch of states.
Free Republic Poll is now Up. Paulvestites non member opinion hitting it hard. Time for the member opinion to put them in their place.
He obviously did a poor job with maintaining fences. My sister, who lived in Arkansas for a number of years while he was guv, had to share the roads with "escaped" cattle.
“Paulvestites non member opinion hitting it hard. Time for the member opinion to put them in their place.”
7% of registered FReepers think Paul increased his chances? What are you people smoking? What... did he go from 0% to .0000001%?
Sheesh. Remind me to send you all a fruitcake next Christmas, since that’s obviously what you prefer.
Well, not me, that’s for sure.
Pro-abortion is a non-starter. You have won a five-gallon Jerry-can of FAIL.
I believe Fred said, “right now we have to trust that the Fed is doing the right thing for the economy.” That isn’t really saying that he trusts the Fed. I could be wrong but that is the way I heard it. GO FRED! :)
It depends on what type of grass is in that grassoroots support.
So, basically, the reason that many Evangelicals are leaning towards Huckabee is that he seems to be the only front runner who actually cares about ending abortion or protecting marriage.
That’s not true and I believe you know it. Thompson, Romney, McCain, and even partially Rudi all want to protect marriage, and all but Rudi care about ending abortion. Huckabee isn’t the only one who cares about these issues. It’s just that Huckabee is one of your own, a former Baptist preacher, and therefore, because he is one of your own you want to and choose to support him, regardless of the multitude of other issues out there for our country to be concerned about. Too many of you Evangelicals are johnny-one-notes are one issue voters, and won’t support any of the other candidates who don’t toe your fundamentalist hardline. Therein lies the problem.
"F-f-f-f-...F-f-f-f-f... F-f-f-f-f Screw Ron Paul"
I think he did well, I just think he lost a few opportunity’s.
He started out so strong. He definitely set the tone for the debate.
