1) Vote for McCain
2) Vote Dims - Kevorkian vote
3) Don't vote
4) Third party?
Don’t vote.
Yes, over any dimocrate any day.
“Without compromise politics does not exist.”
When we compromise core principles, we are not political. we are whores.
I would vote for him over any democrat but I will do so while gritting my teeth.....
3rd Party if McCain or Giuliani are the nominee.
If our nominee is left stranded and people stay home, she may well have a veto-proof Senate. She will do things you cannot imagine.
No, it is not McCain-Feingold that allows her to shut down talk radio -— it is the fairness doctrine. She won’t even need congress to do it. Hillary will force the resignation of one of the FCC commissioners (or have him whacked), put in her own stooge, and institute the policy. The naivete of FReepers who do not know the danger this woman poses astounds me.
Without question.
“You folks who refuse to understand the nature of real conservative politics....”
You DO understand that “conservative” and “Republican” are two different things, do you not?
A Vote for a DEM, or a SIT OUT VOTE, is a VOTE FOR THE M S M.
I won’t. I’ll write in Thompson.
Sorry.
A pastor told me once that before you get to summer camp, you'd dang well better know who the adults are, and who the campers are...
I think we have too many campers, and not enough adults here.
There’s no guarantee a Democrat President will give us a Republican Congress in 2010. Even the Republican Congress we got in 1996 was unable to enact most of its agenda and was forced to compromise with President Clinton on more than a few things. These compromises became a strategy, which, after 8 years, grew into the “compassionate conservatism” we all know and love today.
Also, McCain is a lot of things I don’t like, including pro-Amnesty, but calling him a socialist is a bit of a stretch.
I am sorry, my mistake.
No problem.
Even though both would screw the constitution, your children and grandchildren?
Nah. I love Newt, but he's a much better professor and intellectual than politician. He's damaged goods; there are way too many skeletons for the Clinton mafia to pull out of his closet and spook the voters with.
I would hold my nose and vote for him because of his stance on abortion and the possible three picks for the Supreme Court. I have gone the third party way before and got sick of the usual 6-8% maximum that they can garner.
Yes....you and me both. I read their posts and wonder why they are here.
If you are a conservative and McCain, Rudy, or some other RINO that you can’t stomach is the nominee...
VOTE THIRD PARTY if you know beyond a reasonable doubt which way your state’s electoral votes will go and show your non-support by voting in the “Other” column
VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICAN, however, if you have a remote chance of being kingmaker. If any major recent polls in your state have the Republican within the margin of error, then vote for the Republican because you could be the kingmaker.
IF YOU GET POLLED prior to the election, however, you should take the Republican because polls are usually more valuable than votes since they are sampled and extrapolated to the national level. Also, they influence the votes of others.
If you live in Massachusetts, for instance, I can already tell you that your vote is worthless in the “R” column anyway.
If you live in Florida, however, there’s a high probability that you can’t risk a protest vote.
YES
