WASHINGTON – It's no longer just a charge of copyright violation in the case of Michael Savage v. Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Now the radio talk star is going for the legal jugular in his battle with the group that bills itself as a Muslim civil rights organization.
The San Francisco-based talker has amended his lawsuit against CAIR for misusing audio clips of his show as part of a boycott campaign against his three-hour daily program to include charges the group "has consistently sought to silence opponents of violent terror through economic blackmail, frivolous but costly lawsuits, threats of lawsuits and abuses of the legal system."
The amended lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Northern California, also charges CAIR with using extortion, threats, abuse of the court system, and obtaining money via interstate commerce under false and fraudulent circumstances – calling it a "political vehicle of international terrorism" and even linking the group with support of al-Qaida.
The federal government recently named CAIR, based in Washington, D.C., as an unindicted co-conspirator in an alleged scheme to funnel $12 million to the terrorist group Hamas.

CAIR needs to lose it’s tax exempt status even if it is not disbanded and sued out of existence.

I’m sending a check right now....we should all get behind Michael Savage on this one.
I wish Savage the best going after this organization that has been a wolf in sheeps clothing. Unfortunately, I believe in my heart that the deck has been stacked against him. There is no way that the government(including the judicial system) in this country would allow such a politically incorrect case to have a winning result.
We all need to stand with Savage on this one.send money.If they take him down who will be next.I for one dont care to be dictated to by anyone much less a bunch of 7th century nutcases hell bent on the destruction of our country.If our gubment wont do anything about this terrorist organization then it will be up to the great unwashed to see to it that cair is run out of town.

This is simply unjustified censorship and derogation of democratic freedom.
Yet hate speech waxes predominantly throughout the Islamic world, such as Amadinijad's public announcements about his pretentions to genocide ( which BTW is genuine hate speech) in wiping Israel off the map.
Yet CAIR has not denounced Ahmadinijad, no double standard there eh, fellow dhimmis?
We need to join battle in this cultural war, its the least we could do here at home while our troops risk their lives to fight these bastids in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Say what you will about Savage, this guy has got a set made of Stainless Steel. And Huge!

I’m reluctant to put Michael in the same sentence as Rush, but, by golly, these guys have an ego that drives them to do things others can’t.
Savage is going to prevail.

I have a real problem with somebody who can’t even use his real name.
He can call himself Dumbass for all I care. His lawsuit is legit and has a good chance of causing these cockroaches at CAIR to run for cover.
