To feel that Russert slaughtered Ron Paul is a wishful opinion.

I believe the opposite is true;however,and in any case,Ron Paul is rousing Americans out of their slumber. I think that is Ron Paul's objective and is noble and necessary.

An alert and aware populace is to the benefit of all of us,as well as for those who come after.

And I believe that Dr.Paul could give an hour long interview doing nothing but repeating the phrase "glibbity glibbity glop" and Paul fans would argue that it was the most well reasoned and compelling bit of T.V. they had ever witnessed.

To be fair, it really boils down to whether or not you support the guy.

I once worked with someone whose migraine lasted 3 days unless she took medication immediately she felt any symptoms approaching.

I even gave her one because I had eaten very strong garlic the day before and lent over her to ask something and that was enough to trigger one.

I agree most IT types I know in fact are fairly harden party animals, I do also know a couple of the geeks but they tend to be the ones that are fairly young not ones that have been around for a while.

This is what Paul's all about. Anarchy. Simply destroy the whole system. Tear it all down. Like most parlor radicals, the Paulbots have NO clue that the rule of law and the system is the ONLY thing that keeps them alive. Anarchy, contrary to the radicals fantasies, is not utopia but hell. It is the rule of the strong and the brutal. It is constant terror, suffering and want. Most Paulbots would be completely incapable of surviving in such a world. The reaction of the Martin, the computer hacker in the movie "Live Free or Die Hard" is the best example of what would happen to most Paulbots if their fantasies became real.

LOL. RP wants to restore law and order. You're so far gone you don't even see much of 1984 has come and gone, already. RP supporters understand, even if you are batsh*t blind. The system may be keeping YOU alive, johnnie, but it's making many of us sick.

Here's hoping the bars offer you some comfort when you realize where you are.
