They better not “exclude” gays, transgenders and all sorts of other weirdos from that, or they’ll be in trouble with the PC police.

I’ve been considering pulling the plug on cable TV. Crap like this gets me to the tipping point.

But, as they consider what to do with the teen's hit show Zoey 101 in the wake of the shocking news, network heads are thinking about aiming a special at curious kids in an effort to promote safe sex and abstinence.

How about a special where you not just encourage abstinence, which has proved to be the only effective plan, but also encourage kids to stay away from adults. That 19 year old who wants you to move in should be told to take a hike.

TV has been disgusting lately. We need a true conservative network for news as well as children’s programming. I turn on Fox News and its always a bunch of porn stars dancing around half naked.

What’s with these perverts? One way thought from
the world of make believe creeps.
I thought Nick was family oriented.

Liberals have this need to project sex onto pre-teens.
Why?

You got that right!

Fox has morphed into a quasi-sometimes-it-is-and-sometimes-it-isn’t
‘conservative’ network, you never know what you’re going to get, and in their zeal to keep their numbers up, they’ve compromised much of what first attracted me to their network.

We need a conservative network that offers ALL of the different venues and genres of programming that are currently found on cable, from news to weather to movies to kids programming to science to sports, etc. And the broadcast perspective would *always* be pro-American, pro-Judeo-Christian values, pro-traditional morals. ALL of it in ENGLISH!

And the advertisers wouldn’t be permitted to run their commercials if there was near-obscene and/or racy content to sell their products. If they can’t sell their product without sex, then they can just stay off the air.

Well it was a nice daydream anyway.

A 16 year old girl being impregnated by a 19 year old is not an opportunity to promote “Safe Sex,” it is a crime.

Calling it a crime never worked as a prevention - they allways did it and will allways will do it.

Prevention is sex education - learning about the risks of unwanted pregnancy and HOW TO PREVENT IT.

It’s a very naive and stupid assumption that a law will keep teenagers from having sex.

My two kids watch that Zoey and now I have a good reason to block the program.

That immoral Spears bunch have got to be lower than trailer trash.

What kind of mother allows her 16 year old child to sleep with an 18 year old sex maniac?

As for the Nick Network, their on par with the same immoral trailer trash as the Spears.

If my kids are going to learn about the birds and the bees, they’ll learn it from William Faulkner.

"Liberals have this need to project sex onto pre-teens.
Why?"

Marxist Subversion and Perversion of America’s Youth

"In the overthrowing of America, Cultural Marxists are utilizing a criminal methodology which originated in the USSR and whose ultimate goal can be characterized by its operative doctrine—nihilism. “Nihilism: originally in Russia, a social doctrine that defied all authority; revolutionism bent on the overthrow of all existing institutions.” (Funk and Wagnall’s Dictionary, 1948)

Two key strategies included within the doctrine of nihilism were added after WWI by two Marxist theoreticians, Antonio Gramsci and Georg Lukacs. These strategies had to do with how to destroy the Christian West, which both men concluded was the obstacle standing in the way of a communist new world order.

Gramsci posited that because Christianity had been dominant in the West for over 1600 years, it was therefore completely fused with Western civilization. The West, advised Gramsci, would have to be dechristianized and simultaneously atheitized by means of a “long march through the culture” so as to slowly infiltrate and then radically transform every cultural institution from the family, to the church, seminaries, schools, universities, judiciary, media, entertainment, politics, and political parties

Extreme (obscene) sex education was the strategy added by Lukacs. He reasoned that if Christian sexual ethics such as chastity (abstinence), fidelity, and monogamy could be undermined among children, then both the hated traditional family and Christianity would be dealt crippling blows. Towards this end, Lukacs launched radical sex education programs in the schools. Children, under the control of Bolshevik commissars, were force-fed atheism and instructed in all aspects of promiscuity while simultaneously encouraged to deride and reject their parents, pastors, and Christian moral ethics. All of this was accompanied by a reign of terror perpetrated against parents, priests, and other dissenters. Lukacs’ strategic method would later be brought to American schools by among others, the NEA, ACLU, GLSEN, and GSA."

Thanks for posting that- it describes perfectly what the agenda of the "sex education" advocates really is.

"Sex education" does not stop kids from having sex and in fact encourages that behavior, and "sex education" does nothing to prevent teen pregnancies.

But then, that was never the intention, was it?

If that show goes on, Nickelodeon deserves a boycott and doubly so if Spears is retained on Zoey 101.

The Viacommies see it as another opportunity to trot out Linda Ellerbee and have them sit on her knee while she explains grownup stuff. Last time I recall she did it was when Bill Clinton was facing impeachment over a sexual harassment lawsuit in which he perjured himself and bribed another participant also to lie under oath about their workplace sexual affairs.
