I got hassled by a Paulite on another thread a few days ago for suggesting Soros might be in this somewhere. Good to see I was right, and the Paulite was wrong. Whoever is funding him, he’s creepy.
George Soros is using MoveOn.org to split up the Republican voters to get a weak nominee. In the general election he wants a repeat of what Ross Perot did and get Clinton elected.
At least this takes away money which would otherwise be going to just the Democrats. In a strange kind of way, this is a good thing because Ron Paul definitely won’t be getting the final GOP nod for President for ‘08.
Not to say that “I told you so” to some of the Paul people on this board, but I’ve been saying this ever since August, and taken a lot of heat for it.
Some of us have though much of Paul’s rabid support came from the left but you won’t convince his rabid supporters on FR.
I hope he runs as a third party candidate.
He’ll steal many, many votes fron the Dem candidate.
I was stunned to see some ‘yard’ (in commercial areas) signs for Paul in my area (NE TX). I have not seen any for another candidate, D or R.
RPaul seems to be getting lots of international support from the “open society”.

I’m tellin ya, with all the people coming out of the woodwork to libel Dr. Paul, I’m just about ready to support the man.
I also question the number of supporters since it is easy to have one donor donate $20 100 times.
Don’t forget how soros leveraged into his fortunes by setting up other peoples failures.
Wow they are desparate...You’d think that money could be better spent on promoting their candidates. Oh wait, I guess they need to make the GOP look like a side-show circus to take attention away from the center ring while the hildabeast gets setup for her big finale.
Nothing is being exposed. At worst, there are a few anti-war leftists that have been attracted to Ron Paul’s campaign. I’ve never denied that there are some, but they’re not his entire base of support. Some don’t care about his other views, some don’t understand them, but best of all, some are learning about and taking a liking to them. However, it is not “proof” of anything, and it’s certianly not proof that George Soros is funding Paul’s campaign, as has been suggested by many. MoveOn is nothing but a website - anybody can become a member.
In the end, I care about the message itself, not if some people have been attracted to it for the wrong reasons. If some are Truthers, leftists, or racists, then they’re the ones with the problem, not me, Dr. Paul, or the majority of normal Americans supporting his campaign.
IIRC, one of Soros’ most heartfelt issues is the legalization of all drugs. It would make sense that he would want to support a Libertarian candidate.
I have smelled a rat from day 1. The Truthers are closet libs, Soros and his minions want Paul to suceed so they can paint the GOP as the party of NUTS.
