Francisco Nava '09 was physically attacked by two men in Princeton Township yesterday evening, sustaining a concussion but no other serious injuries. The assault comes on the heels of several threatening messages recently sent to Nava, apparently in connection with his involvement with the socially conservative Anscombe Society.
Nava was walking from a borrowed car to the house of a boy he is mentoring when he was stopped by a man dressed in black and wearing a ski cap. According to Nava, the man said that someone was hurt and asked for his help. A second assailant, who was waiting around the corner, grabbed Nava from behind. Together, the two men checked him against a wall and repeatedly hit his head against the bricks.

This is deplorable. God bless him and may his healing be expediant and without long term problems.

I hope they find these scumbags soon and the ties to any groups they belong to if any.

Yet I bet they would welcome Ahmadinejad.
I’m in the College Republicans club at Ohio State...we had some Iraq vets come to speak to us. One of them said “Being College Republicans, you guys are probably in more danger than us in Baghdad!”

Horrible, though I hope this doesn’t turn into another fake hate crime type incident. Something doesn’t seem right just reading those two articles. I have known about that organization for a while and that Robert George had received a lot of flak for his views in Princeton.

Anscombe Society WebsiteThe Anscombe Society believes in the inherent dignity of every human person. We, furthermore, look to what sociology, psychology, medicine, philosophy, theology, and human experience agree works for the good and health of the person and for the common good and flourishing of society. In this way we have been led to take stated positions on the family, marriage, sexual ethics, chastity, and sexuality. We believe that these positions protect human dignity, the individual and common good, and the healthy and flourishing society, for which all people must endeavor.
Easy to understand why the local blackshirts would target them.

I expect the leftists to start killing and bombing people and organizations soon. I think the left is unhinged, self-righteous and totally intolerant. Underneath, they’re all fascists and dictators.

Horrible, though I hope this doesnt turn into another fake hate crime type incident. It seems unlikely that a conservative student would let himself be beaten up by friends to fake an incident

This sounds weird, somethings not right.

“Underneath, theyre all fascists and dictators.”
Yes, they are. Very much. Notice how they fawn over dictators and strongmen like Stalin, Castro, Chavez, etc.

"Leftism has always been spread by thugs, goons & violent behavior.
Bolsheviks, Brownshirts, Sandinistas, Teamsters, etc..."
Leftism is about THEFT, so it should come as no surprise that they expect to have to use force to get what they want. Ever since humans have walked the earth, there have been those who have been willing to take from others by force rather than earn for themselves. What makes anyone think that we have evolved beyond that?
The most ardent supporters of leftism want the government to steal from the earners in society and give to them. The only difference is that force is applied through the IRS (backed by men with guns) rather than their own two hands.
