Former President Bill Clinton talks during a fundraiser for his wife Hillary at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, N.J. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007. It's not often that Bill Clinton is relegated to the role of substitute, but the former president agreed to fill in Wednesday night at a New Jersey fundraiser his wife missed because of bad weather. Hillary Rodham Clinton, campaigning in Iowa, was stranded in the Midwest by an ice storm and did not make the event at New Brunswick's State Theatre to hear Tony Bennett perform. One thing that has become obvious to me during all the debates. When Hillary is talking about something she believes in, she looks straight at the camera. When she is lying, she looks away from the camera and only looks at it briefly. Interesting body language study. I’m sure her campaign people read this board and will probably change how she acts now. They did the same thing when people were refering to her speaches and being Hitler like.
Good post.
LOL
Perhaps it’s the same as sticking your tongue between your index and middle fingers. If the shoe fits, wear it.
See http://www.languagetrainers.co.uk/blog/2007/09/24/top-10-hand-gestures/
. The Fig 'I've got your nose'. Nothing more than a fist with the thumb poking out from between the index and middle fingers, the mano fico (literally fig hand) is a gesture of Roman origin, used as a positive gesture to encourage good luck and fertility, and ward away the evil eye. The sexual nuance comes from from the hands resemblance to the female private parts (fica is actually Italian slang for vulva), with the nub of the thumb representing the clitoris. There seems to be a lack of positive meaning to this sign these days, however. If youre doing the fig, it probably means youre denoting a letter T in American Sign Language. But if somebody else is giving you the same gesture (especially if they are of the Asian persuasion), theyre probably giving you a rather disparaging insult, roughly equivalent to f--- you!. This hand sign is also highly disparaging to Italians and Turks, and in India would be taken as a threatening gesture. Most non-deaf Americans or Brits, however, would simply see the mano fico as a bizarre-looking fist.
Hillary: "I'll remain true to my values just as my husband remained true."
LOL!
.
So it's a Macaca Moment???
She looks like Princess Anne.
"And I only paid one dollar for this ugly orange tie"
You owe me a new keyboard - I was eating cereal when I read yours! LOL!
"Listen, A-hole, I make or break people like you before breakfast. Make sure my assistant is no more than 3 feet away from me at all times or I'll f-in' have your a$$ transferred to Iowa's Dogcatching Dept. Got it?"
Phewww-weeee....this is one stinky finger.....
The guy made a comment to Chelsea about voting for Hillary "becasue she is so ethical".
