Six- and 10-month-old babies are much more capable judges of character than previously thought. Not only can infants pick out a good Samaritan, they tend to identify with them, according to a Yale University study published in the journal Nature.

mom ping?
Do babies even know what Samaritans are?
Mom Ping!!!!!!!
and anyone holding a bottle.
I’ve seen puppies and less than grown dogs do the same thing.
When a young pooch offers Instant Trust, I won’t abuse that Trust.
Babies, friends’ little sisters, friends’ moms, and dogs always loved me. Hot chicks, not so much. What does this say about me?
I’m not all that fond of kids or cats.
At a friends place a few years back, he bring a couple beers in from the kitchen and almost falls over, his freakin cat was sittin on my lap and I COULD NOT make that cat stay away.
My friend says it was a feral cat and NEVER came up to people, he walks over to give me the beer and the cat heads for places unknown!
Comin out of a Wal-mart. There’s a little about 6 year old girl outside, with a play cell phone, and she’s makin like she’s taking pictures. Has it aimed at a small hedge and says “Tree!”
Turns around and sees me walking by her and points it up at me and says “Handsome man!”
Kinda sucks.
I’m having zero luck convincing Bridget that I’m all that handsome.
I don’t know that I’m a good samaritan and it isn’t 6 and 10 months old, but crying, lost children always come to me in a crowd. I always figured it was because I’m a woman and short.
Same here, I guess our innocent charm just doesn’t work when it comes to the gettin some.
That you're my long-lost identical twin...?
When I saw the headline, I thought it was: “Babes gravitate to Good Samaritans.” Of course, my reaction was, huh? Babes gravitate to jerks.
Duh.
Stressed out, tense, angry, bitter people are unapproachable.
Kind, gentle, soft-spoken people are approachable.
We needed a study to figure this out?
Not in my family. At that age they aren’t letting anyone but their small circle of family hold them.
Not a homeschooling article, but I thought you’d be interested.
Yup. Babies, like dogs, have very good instincts.
It means God is being kind to you in His Patriarchal unusual way. Hot chicks are the Devil!~
Kind, gentle, soft-spoken ... and interact with them person-to-person, on a level they can understand.
Kids can tell very quickly if you like kids or not.
That you’re a real nice guy who any DECENT girl should be proud to bring home.
From all I’ve ever seen hot chicks have the depth of a puddle of pee. Count your blessings.
I can’t stand cats, aside from being VERY allergic to them.
Guess who they single out and home in on in a crowd?
I feel your pain...
