It is my patriotic duty to let you know that there is a secret organization in the United States, which has a hard evidence that George W. Bush and his administration ARE GUILTY of many crimes including terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.
Also they inform that BUSH and his administration plan to cancel the presidential election in 2008!
They will be able to stop George W. Bush, 'cause they have 1543 documents, 402 secret tapes and 135 witnesses, which prove that George W. 2000, actually. And I believed it. I fully expected the Clintons to decalre Martial Law over the Bush/Gore election debacle and make themselves Leaders For Life because the 2000 election was "illegitimate", according to them.
I was truly shocked that they voluntarily left office with nothing more than trashing the White House and looting Air Force One. I thought we got off light.
Look at them now - desperately trying to go back. And they wouldn't make the mistake of leaving next time.
Dubya, and particularly Laura, can't wait to leave the White House. It's 1000% different than how the Clintons feel about being president.
Lucy Malone has nothing to fear. The Bushes will leave because they, unlike Bill and Hill, love their country and want to abide by the Constitution.
There would be lasting world peace by the end of the week.
*snort* This is not a surprise. Wild eyed young folks, and not a few older ones, have been spouting this for years. Stems from the Michael Moore movie, and the existing silly notions about Bush and Ashcroft wanting to turn the government into a theocracy.
I tend to think the Republican-led Senate and the Republican-heavy Supreme Court would have been unwilling to give them the Constitutional cover they needed. With a Dem-led Congress and 8 years to reshape the Court, they might not face such obstacles next time.

Of course, it wasn't our last one. But every election since that time I've heard someone express that same conviction. It has become something of an Urban legend.
Although I worried the first time I heard this rumor, I now know it belongs with other crazy myths, like big foot sightings and alien abductions.

Several weeks ago I talked to an 82 year old man, flaming liberal his whole life, worked in government, and yes, he believes this. He brought it up to me.
My response was hysterical laughter.
That has been debunked years ago.. those photos that keep popping up are of a staging area at a GM plant where they park the newly made vehicles before shipping.
