That Hillary Clinton -- such a prankster! Yes, if there's one thing Hillary is known for, it's her great sense of humor and light touch. So when she included Barack Obama's statements as a third-grader and kindergartner in her press release for purposes of demonstrating he was lying when he said he hadn't long harbored presidential ambitions, we should have all realized it was just one more of Hillary's rib-ticklers. Too bad that gullible old MSM let itself get spun.
That in essence is what Mark Penn [file photo], Hillary's chief strategist, would have people believe about the press release Clinton put out two days ago. Penn appeared on today's Morning Joe, and talk soon turned to the release:

Didn’t you realize Hillary was joking? Ping to Today show list.
looks like a fat whore and a no eyes whore in the picture to me......just sayin’
"Look, that press release has become a disaster. We've got to do damage control."
"Maybe we could say we were joking?"
"In a press releae?? Are you out of your mind?? No one would be stupid enough to buy that!!"
"I don't know. I think the people might."
"You really think the voters are THAT dumb?"
"Yes. I do."
"Okay. We go with: 'it was all a big joke'"
Laugh at my jokes or I’ll kill you!
Now that’s just pathetic. We’ll see if the MSM runs with this. I doubt it though. I’m guessing they’re getting tired of Mrs. Clinton. Better late than never, I suppose.
So the Clinton Chinese Mafia War Room is becoming a Joke??
This clown may show up at the next show w/an Ashtray sticking out of his head.
Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops
Reminds me of David Bowie in The Labyrinth. “Well, laugh?”
It sets out five items as counter-evidence to Obama's claim that he had not been planning to run for president for many years. The items about essays he wrote as a third-grader and kindergartner are presented in precisely the same fashion as the other points. Absolutely nothing, in either word or graphic presentation, sets them apart or in any other way suggests they are presented as a joke.
This is the second time running that Penn has been caught out playing fast and loose with the facts in a Morning Joe appearance. Just last week, he scolded Scarborough for airing a Zogby poll showing Hillary losing to the GOP front-runners. Penn bizarrely claimed that the poll was "meaningless" because it was the first online poll Zogby had ever conducted. The problem for Penn: Zogby has been running online polls for almost ten years, and no one knows that better than Penn himself since, as the Zogby folks were quick to point out, Penn and the Hillary campaign . . . have been the #1 consumers of Zogby's online polling data.
I always ignore nasty cracks from nasty cracks.
Hillary has the sense of humor of a rock.
Joe Scarborough, University of Alabama, ‘82.
Obama’s not laffing.........
Hillary?
Sense of humor?
Now THAT’S a good one!
You all know Gandhi. He ran a gas station down in St Louis. ...
*cackle*
With all her money and influence, this is the best campaign team she can come up with? These people are something else, but who was it that said the fish rots from the head down?
If the people are so stupid, they’d buy the “it was a joke” excuse, then they are also too stupid to get the joke in the first place.
There are ways to make it clear you are joking. You can follow the joke, by saying, “all kidding aside” or “on a more serious note”, for example. Or you can make the joke so crazy and outrageous, no one could take it seriously.
Their alternative explanation was that the press release was a dream.
Yeah ol Butch has a great sense of humor!
