They showed the response to Thompson's answer and the expert said that it was as close to PERFECT as he's ever seen!
Thompson said that we should ENFORCE enforce our borders.
And Fox says that Thompson is on the side of America on this issue

He's an Open Border Lobby troll. It's probably better not to feed him.
I tried to watch Fox & Friends this morning, but when they showed Geraldo Rivera from Baghdad - I had to change channels - I can’t stand him!
I am curious, Rudy - by most everyone’s account - did very badly in the debate last night. How did Fox’s favorite candidate fare in their reporting this morning? Did they even mention him? Were they able to spin it in his favor?
For them to even ALLOW someone to speak favorably of Fred Thompson - I am surprised.
I hope that you are not implying that placing a fence on our border is akin to the Berlin Wall, as it is not; The Berlin all was erected to keep people in, and a fence on our southern border would simply keep people out.
The southern border fence is no different than locking the door to your house, or to your car. You do those things, don’t you?
IMHO, Fred just won himself the nomination last night.
That is, if people were watching...

Judging by your posts, you are a plant. A household plant.
And you are like Hillary in policy and politics.
What about the attack on the guy who asked about the Confederate Flag?
I’m no southerner and no supporter of secession, but the COnfederate Flag does not represent racism and the ku Klux Klan, it is a symbol of the south and southern heritage.
He revealed himself to me in that unmeasured vitriolic response as a typical Yankee Limousine Liberal. Thompson’s answer was far more measured and logical and I doubt of any other candidate would have responded as Romney did.
Seriously, trying to see the “other side” - what is their (surface) reasoning for not wanting a fence and sealed border?
I know what the underlying, and UNDERLYING, reasons are - but what are they offering for a surface argument?
A cannabis plant.
So you planted a news story. /s
Agree...Romney lost major points with me on his “now is not the time” answer. He never did answer the question. I don’t have to agree with your stance, Governor - just have one!
No doubt. :)
Geez.
It was that guy Luntz (?) who does focus groups during and after debates. Just can’t recall his full name and sure I did not spell his last name correctly. I have a feeling that this “expert” tends to lean liberal, so saying Fred did well might have been hard for him to admit. :)
It was Luntz the polster ,How about learning the facts before you start being a jerk!
OK - I DVR’ed the debtate and watched it at 11. Unfortunately, my DVR cut off the last couple minutes of the debate.
1. The last question I heard was the black dude asking why his race doesn’t vote Republican - but I didn’t hear anything but the first half of Giuliani’s answer. Who else answered and what did they say?
2. Were there questions after that?
I signed on as a Friend of Fred very early in the game then backed away as he started to show all the energy and focus of Rick Lazio. I am again sliding toward him, but cautiously.
I have been going all over the Radio and TV and everyone say Huckabee was the clear winner last night. Second to that is the talk about how everybody fired shots at Romney.
He already has:
Bolster Border Security. Finish building the 854-mile wall along the border by 2010 as required by 8 USC 1103. Extend the wall beyond that as appropriate and deploy new technologies and additional resources to enhance detection and rapid apprehension along our borders by 2012.
