DH covers illegal immigration, China cheating on trade, 2nd Amendment, never apologizing for America and homosexuals in the military...
The relatively few questions and small amount of time given to Hunter and Tancredo shows that the media is out to exclude the conservatives. But, remember that the Iowa Republican Party was also going to exclude them based on low Drive-By Media generated poll numbers. We cannot let the Drive-By Media and the RINOs determine the partys future.
Instead of whining after each debate about the unequal number of questions and total response time of the candidates, we should contact future debate sponsors and demand that all the candidates should be given the same number of questions and/or the same amount of time. It may not work, but if we dont ask, well never know.
Since I am a newbie, Ill leave it to someone else to post a debate schedule and contact information.
>Like it or not, DH is going to have to do or say something completely outrageous to kick in the door and make the MSM cover him...<
There is nothing Duncan Hunter could do, short of committing suicide, (God forbid!) to ‘make’ the MSM cover him. They represent the exact opposite of what Duncan Hunter stands for, and will continue to kick sand over him.
Bill Bennett, this morning on his show, Bill Bennett’s Morning in America, when asked would not endorse any candidate, but he did say that he likes Duncan Hunter, likes everything he has to say, and likes his manner. He said Duncan Hunter is supremely well qualified but that he doesn’t have the money necessary.
Dr. Bennett also was sad to announce that one of my longtime favorites, the Honorable Henry Hyde, is dead at 82.
Rep. Hyde endorsed Duncan Hunter early on.
I am sorry we have lost a great man with Rep. Hyde’s passing. Flags should be flying at half mast all over the country.
So let’s endorse our candidate today, in Rep. Hyde’s memory, by writing a healthy check to Hunter for President, and sending it to:
Go Hunter 08
9340 Fuerte Dr., Suite 302
La Mesa, CA 91941
Thank you.
Well said doll. Henry Hyde, RIP.
Ding...ding...ding. We have a winner.
I'm really tired of these so-called debates. I want to hear one question answered by each candidate within 60 seconds. "If elected president, how will you ....?" Tell us how you would solve such and such problem. The trade deficit, national debt, jobs back in this country, illegal immigration and border control, the economy, devalued dollar$ vs the euro, halt contaminated foodstuffs, clothing, toys, etc., from entering the U.S. How are you going to change trade policies that are unfair to our country? What do you think of the United Nations?
My paragraphing and punctuation is poor but I think FReepers get the idea, and many of you can come up with more questions of what American citizens want to know. Put these politicians on the spot!
What they should do is give each candidate the number 1 position for a debate and rotate them to 2nd position the next debate then 3rd position and so on...EVERY candidate gets fair time to be in the spotlight and the time will be distributed evenly.
A Fred Thompson - Duncan Hunter team would at FreeRepublic, and maybe in the Republican party as well.
“..we should contact future debate sponsors and demand that all the candidates should be given the same number of questions and/or the same amount of time.”
That is a terrific idea!
This should help us contact them:

Does anyone know who is hosting the next debate? Let’s get started now.
There was going to be one in Iowa on the 4th, but it was cancelled. Then I heard that there was one there on the 12th. I have no confimation of that. I’ll see what I can drum up.
Good idea.
Whoever finds out first, let the others know, OK?
Duncan Hunter got the LEAST amount of time in the very first debate, and little time in all of the debates, except for the debate in Baltimore, where everyone got equal time.
Right. I have a call in to the campaign. It may be morning before I get back to you.
Thanks!
My sourse somewhat confusing. Still working on it.
Okay, here’s the scoop. There will be a Republican debate on December 12 in Des Moines, Iowa, by the Des Moines Register. Duncan Hunter will be flying out of Las Vegas 12/11, destination Des Moines.
ALERT: Duncan Hunter will be on the Jeff Katz show in S. Carolina, at 5PM EST today. the show airs 3-6PM EST. There is some talk about Freightliner moving to SC, or even to Mexico!

PING my post # 135.
I thought Hunter and Tancredo had been excluded from the Iowa debate. Am I thinking of the wrong one?
THANX Paperdoll!!!!
Here’s a link to the Des Moines Register:

Let’s tell them equal time for the candidates (or more time for Hunter :) )
At the above link, you can call, write, e-mail and ALSO, I noticed that there’s a link to send an editor’s letter. I don’t know if they will publish editor’s letters from another state, though. Anybody have friends or relatives in Iowa?
I would let them know that Duncan Hunter is a social conservative in the letter, because in Iowa, evangelicals prefer Huckabee 2 to 1 over Romney, and I think they would do the same for Hunter, if only they knew he was just as much, if not more so, of a social conservative as Huckabee.
“I thought Hunter and Tancredo had been excluded from the Iowa debate. Am I thinking of the wrong one?”
I think you’re thinking of the Dec. 5 debate, which was cancelled because Romeny couldn’t make it (if I’m not mistaken).
Please see my post #138.
