Great report. Any other tidbits?
Good point. The vast middle is hung up on it though....to bad.
yes
Rooty also loves to hear himself talk. He would be much better if he could learn to shut up. Once the Republican base gets a good look at him, Rooty the RINO is toast.
Huckabee make Mitt look like Ned the second-grader...watch the polls go up for Huck and down for Mitty.
It wasn't a "mistake"...he broke the law!
Hey, at least they ENFORCED the law!
If you don't like the law, change it.
But it was a toss up for outrageousness with the head scarf moslem being the first Iraq war question.
My all time prize goes to the first "undecided republican" in the post debate focus group announcing support for John Edwards!
I don’t ask for papers either. This is just another cheap shot at Romney. Contractors should be liable, not homeowners.
You got a point.
It won’t be a Northeastern liberal—Republican. Me either.
Did you talk with Duncan Hunter on Free Republic a while back? He answered a lot of questions.
He nailed that one. All of his answers were down-to-earth and pretty straight to the point. Didn’t bite on the Norquist pledge, didn’t bite on gays, great answer on guns with the little fatherly lecture about handling firearms (also a very nice little memory he shared with his own father). He seemed the most “real” up there tonight, pandering to nobody and giving straight answers.
“Do you really understand what the IRS is and what it does? Your post would indicate No.
Yes, I most certainly do. But to state with a straight face that you’re going to get rid of the IRS and not say exactly how you’re going to do that is insane. The failure rate is extremely high ;-)
I assumed you meant in 2007, as this year is almost over. Now that it is clear you are talking about 2006, I looked up the incident you speak of, and it wasn’t Mitt Romney choosing to give the award to the 2 homosexuals, it was the Mass Dept of Social Services(DSS), a known liberal department. Remember, Romney was Gov of Mass, a totally liberal state, with a liberal dominated statehouse. He had as much control over the DSS awarding this honor as George Bush has over the federal State Department (infested with libs also). But you can’t get rid of these libs, as they are all protected by Civil Service, and/or Shakeman Act laws, that protect them from firing because of political affiliation. So Romney was stuck with them just as George Bush is stuck with lots of libs in the various Depts of State, in particular, Education, Interior (envirowhackos) and State. But you just want to blame Romney because you don’t like him. But at least try to pretend to be fair when you bring up a faux example such as the following in your attempts to slam him:
Excerpt from Web:
“The Massachusetts Department of Social Services (DSS) Adoption and Foster Care division is overrun with committed GLBT activists and sympathizers who believe in their hearts that traditional families are paternalistic, sexist, “heterosexist”, sexually oppressive, and generally mired in outworn Judeo-Christian morality.
What better way to hasten their utopian society than place as many children as they can get their hands on with “families” headed by GLBT same-sex couples? Who cares if heterosexual couples have played by the rules and waited years on end with no adoptive placement? (See our previous posting on a DSS-funded group home for “GLBTQ” children.)
Example: Recently two homosexual men, in whose house DSS had placed a little boy, were honored as “Parents of the Year” by DSS. The DSS apparently took the boy from his birth parents and extended family against their wishes. (”Newton couple honored as Parents of the Year by DSS”, Daily News Tribune, August 9, 2006.)
If our RNC had any backbone, they would put out a press release that Repubs would no longer have debates on CNN since they used people from Democrat operatives to pose false questions to candidates.
This whole debate on CNN was not worth watching IMO.
Do all these guys including corn dude live with their parents?
Who cares who said what, the real Scandal of this “debate” was the Clinton News Network was an infomercial for Harpy twice in a row.
This is absolute Corruption on a national level pure and simple. There was no way to answer those “why are you a Racist, Sexist, Homophobe Christian, questions.
Just when you think the Dinosaur Press has hit the tarpits they sink lower. Truely astonishing.
Pray for W and Our Victorious Troops
