Gravy, whether the object of your appetite for breakfast, lunch or dinner, is hot.

Gravy lawsuits... this would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic.

I have purchased the gas station gravy filled biscuits from time to time. They are pretty good.

I find embroidering the legal disclaimer on the linen napkins to be a nice touch.
PING!!

Traditionally, I make the gravy in my house... I did some earlier this week to go with some cube steaks we had for dinner. Usually I don't go to the trouble of a brown roux, but I had the time, and it was well worth it... =]
Traditionally, my oldest daughter tastes the gravy in my house. She said she liked it, though truly it never comes out exactly the same as the last time.
Good gravy isn't all that hard to make, but it's not trivial either.

We have ritual at Thankgiving. When we pass the hot stuff like the gravy bowl, the field peas, creamed corn, we always say “Its hot”. And to get the really hot stuff like the corn bread dressing, that just came out of the oven, we always pass our plates to the person nearest to the “very hot” casserole dish and when you say that is enough ... another big ol' spoon full is always added, which seems to always seem to be not enough after a few bites!.

I simply MUST have gravy with my Thanksgiving dinner.
For the 4 or 5 years my dad and stepmom hosted Thanksgiving, my father almost always forgot to make the gravy, which sucked.

Good policy. It has worked for years at my house as well.

I think the people who bring these frivolous law suits should be required to attend a remedial “Kindergarten” class every day for a month (longer if they can’t get it) until they know “what is hot and what is not”!

Oh, I've done that one before. That's a hunting camp special.
When I cook gravy for biscuits and gravy, I always crack eggs into the pan, put the lid on, and let them steam on top of the gravy. Then I serve them with the biscuits and gravy.
With salt and pepper to taste, of course.
