RINOs have infested the GOP, and for that matter FreeRepublic. I am sure that there is a certain level of RINO infestation that can be lived with, but our Institutions are being over-run by these vermin.
The polls that show up on the bottom of the FreeRepublic page consistently show too much support for RINOs, and this is just unacceptable. I mean how can it be that RINOs like McCain, Romney, Ron Paul and Giuliani (among others) get so much Freeper support. I am not sure what we can, or should, do to eliminate this problem, but there has to be some sort of ultimate solution.
It seems like a consensus has emerged here that many here seem to agree with, and it goes something like: "There is no difference between [insert liberal Democrat Name here] and [insert RINO Name here], so it will do the GOP and Conservatism a great service to NOT support the RINO and let the LIBERALs have the election. I mean, theres no difference between them, and it will help the conservative movement, by showing how Liberalism and RINOism will destroy America."
Maybe for a start ..I might suggest that there be a grand list of RINOs that deserve NO support and that those on the list be PURGED in one fashion or another. I am trying to provide links to support my charges of RINO status.
Pat Robinson ...... McCain ....... Romney
Ron Paul...... Senator Coleman (MN)...... Senator Kit Bond (MO)
Giuliani ....... Mike Huckabee ..... Sen. George V. Voinovich
Sen. Collins ...... Senator Snowe ...... Sen. Hagel
Sen. John W. Warner ...... Senator Hatch (UT)..... Senator Lott (MS)
Senator Specter (PA) ..... Arnold Schwarzenegger ..... Senator Graham (SC)
Senator Lugar (IN) ...... Senator Kyl (AZ) ..... Senator Martinez (FL) ......
I am sure I could make this list hugely BIG like probably 10X this big ..... but I think I should let other FRepers join in so we can purge those RINOs for good!
Just the 527 provision.
HR513- 109th Congress (527 Reform Act)
My thought exactly. It’s amazing the level the DH supporters will stoop to, isn’t it? I thought about hitting the abuse button, but it’s too much fun to read the replies.
So, who do we get to be Vice President during Thompson's first term? Dick Cheney, of course! It will make moonbat heads explode! :)
A "zealot" is someone who does what God would do if God had all the facts.
Defining a RINO is someone who doesn't agree with a conservative zealot (and not necessarily with a conservative in general) means a large Crash of RINOs in the offing.
Since theres nothing wrong with the Conservative agenda and name calling doesn't seem to be attracting voters. It must either be a conspiracy within the Republican party or an evil plot orchestrated by the democrats.
Ok perfect example. I’d vote for that ticket any day of the week!
Your Thompson was part of this crowd in the Senate: Democrats voting no: Breaux (D-LA), Nelson (D-NE)
Republicans voting yes: Chafee (R-RI), Cochran (R-MS), Collins (R-ME), Domenici (R-NM), Fitzgerald (R-IL),
In fact he was a co-sponsor of the legislation.

Thanks for reminding me of just what a significant roll Thompson played in getting Campaign Finance Reform passed.
It would help if solid conservatives would challenge lifer RINOs in primaries rather than just rubber stamping the re-election because of the fear of going up a giant war chest. It can be done. 2008 and 2010 will be the years to try.

Another one of the CFR bills that looked good at the time, and instead just gave more power to MoveOn and other 527s. Either way, as I said, Thompson was wrong to support it, but it doesn't change his overall Conservative record.
So let’s unite under Hunter, who has an extensive history in Congress to stand on?
You are misrepresenting that.
Because the ‘lets’ in ‘lets unite’ if you are talking about the audience here may move Hunter up from 1% to 1.1%
Is there a similar chart for other candidates?
http://www.ontheissues.org has all of them.
Duncan Hunter isn’t conservative enough for me. He’s a damned RINO.
