Yes and I will pray for the families of those on the flight.
Sighing...
It would be a perfect Christmas gift if the muslims (or non-muslims) who are familiar with any pending terror attacks would contact the authorities and let them know the details.
Saving lives.
It’s a great feeling.

“Krekar makes new threats”
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Just three days after Norway’s highest court upheld a state expulsion order against Mullah Krekar, the man who’s considered a threat to the nation’s security has made new threats against the country that’s harboured him for years.
Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reported Thursday that Krekar, the former head of Islamic guerrilla group Ansar al Islam, told a Kurdish web site that he’s sure the Norwegian authorities will never deport him, because that would spark “reaction” against Norway from his Islamic supporters.
Krekar told web site Awane that the “reaction” would come from his relatives, from an armed group, and also from those who follow his religious teachings and sympathize with him.
The groups, he said, “probably are from Somalia or Morocco.” He refused to specify what type of “reaction” he expected.

Justice lawyers have objected to the affiliation with ISNA, fearing it will undermine the case against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development in Dallas.") (August 27, 2007)

“Intelligence report hits China deal”
By Bill Gertz
November 30, 2007
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “U.S. intelligence agencies informed a Treasury Department-led review committee recently that a merger between 3Com and a Chinese company would threaten U.S. national security, The Washington Times has learned.
Bush administration intelligence officials said the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) recently submitted a required threat assessment to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, known as CFIUS, which is conducting a 30-day investigation of the proposed deal between 3Com and China’s Huawei Technologies.
The assessment, which is classified, described the deal as posing a “threat” to U.S. national security, according to officials familiar with the document.”

He is believed to be involved in at least eight IED and EFP attacks in the area stretching between April and November 2007.

Egyptian police seize explosives, uncover tunnels near Gaza border
Published: 11.30.07, 10:41 / Israel News
Police arrested a Bedouin woman Friday who had almost a half ton of explosives buried under her house in the eastern Sinai Peninsula, a security official said.
The munitions seized in al-Takadom village included some 770 pounds of explosives and eight rockets, said the official. Police found the explosives a day after they discovered two tunnels on the other side of the Sinai Peninsula in Rafah, just a few meters from Egypt’s border with the Gaza Strip, the official said. WARDEN MESSAGE: SRI LANKA COASTAL AREA RESIDENTS ADVISED TO EVACUATE
U.S. Embassy Colombo released the following Warden Messge on November 29, 2007:
At approximately 5:55pm on November 28, 2007, a bomb exploded near a clothing store at Nugegoda junction, a busy suburb of Colombo, killing at least seventeen people and injuring more than thirty, all civilians. The attack was apparently carried out by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
Unlike other recent LTTE attacks against government and military targets, this incident appears to have directly targeted civilians. At this time, the Embassy has no information about possible future attacks against civilians. However, in light of this incident American citizens are advised to defer non-essential visits to crowded public places and high-profile public venues.
As always, the Embassy reminds American citizens to continue to be aware of their surroundings and vigilant about their personal security. Americans are advised to be on alert when visiting government facilities and public venues. Americans should also continue to avoid military installations, military convoys traveling on the roads and, where possible, government buildings, as they have in the past been targets for LTTE violence. There are likely to be traffic disruptions as Sri Lankan security forces increase their security checks. Americans are again reminded to cooperate fully with Sri Lankan security forces as they implement increased security measures.
For additional information, please refer to A Safe Trip Abroad found at http://travel.state.gov. Americans living or traveling in Sri Lanka are encouraged to register with the U.S. Embassy through the State Departments travel registration website. The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Colombo is located at 210 Galle Road. The telephone number is 011 94 11 249-8500. The number for after-hours emergencies is 011 94 11 249-8888. The fax number is 011 94 11 249-8501. The Consulates e-mail address is consularcolombo@state.gov and its Internet web page is http://usembassy.state.gov/srilanka. U.S. citizens should also consult the Department of States latest consular information sheet for Sri Lanka and the Worldwide Caution Public Announcement, both available at http://travel.state.gov. Up-to-date information on security can also be obtained by calling 1-888-407-4747 toll free in the United States or, for callers outside the United States and Canada, a regular toll line at 1-202-501-4444.
