The Al-Fajr Media Center--Al-Qaida's official online logistical network--has released a new statement titled, "We'll Do It Again: Annapolis Shall Not Rescue Their Metropolis, Written by a Soldier in the Army Aiming to Destroy Their Metropolis."
The statement condemned the upcoming Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in Annapolis, Maryland, as a bid to "declare war against the Muslims and to cleanse the desire for jihad from each and every believer." The communique further boasted of Al-Qaida's role in "the collapse of Manhattans metropolis": "The decision to target the World Trade Center during the [9/11] raids was a wise one because it made other weaker regimes tremble, run, and hide."

Ten killed, eight detained as Coalition forces target al-Qaeda senior leaders
BAGHDAD Ten terrorists were killed and eight suspects detained during Coalition forces operations Saturday north of Samarra.
During three coordinated operations early Saturday, Coalition forces targeted senior al-Qaeda in Iraq leaders and associates, killing a wanted individual, believed to be associated with the Badush prison escape in March. Reports indicate that the wanted individual had previously been imprisoned for weapons smuggling.
As the ground force approached the target area, they were engaged by armed men who were then observed maneuvering into defensive positions near a reed line. Responding in self-defense, the ground force called for supporting aircraft to engage, killing eight terrorists, including the wanted individual. Seven suspects were detained as Coalition forces cleared the target area.
The ground force found a sniper rifle, machine guns and military-style vest from searching the area. All the weapons were safely destroyed on site to prevent further use by terrorists.
Saturday afternoon, Coalition forces detained one suspect during operations targeting associates of al-Qaeda in Iraq senior leaders. When the ground force arrived in the area, they observed three men inside of a vehicle and called for them to come out. One man complied and was subsequently detained. The other two remained inside the vehicle and detonated a suicide vest, causing the vehicle to explode, killing both men. Once the fire was out, the ground force secured the area and found a pistol and the detonated suicide vest.
Were keeping the pressure on al-Qaeda in Iraq, dismantling their leadership, said Maj. Winfield Danielson, MNF-I spokesperson. We will continue targeting al-Qaeda, further diminishing their ability to conduct indiscriminate attacks.

Jihad — another day.
Goosebumps reading your post Bruce. Each time I read of the savage ways Christians and Jews are being killed (pretty much daily around the world), my heart goes out to the friends and families of those Christians and Jews, who are true martyrs.
The Islamic Army in Musol announce their split from the main faction and forming their own resistance group
It is sad to the resistance factions are fighting each others for unnecessary differences .these differences were created by the occupation to enforce his agenda, if the resistance in Afghanistan fought each others before the withdrawal of the Russian enemy then the factions in our country are fighting among themselves before the withdrawal of the enemy, this is one of the cards the enemy is using making advantage of the gap created between the resistance and Iraqi tribes.
We in the Islamic Army Musol branch after we saw this ..announce our split from the Islamic Army and forming our independent resistance group under the name "Army of Fatah Al-Mubin".
Over 1500 extremists freed after repenting
Snippets: Saudi authorities have released more than1 , 500reformed extremists, who were detained on charges of embracing and spreading takfeer (the ideology that brands other Muslims who disagree with them as infidels).
The suspects were largely confused about the meaning of jihad, which led to their believing in committing blind violence. They also viewed that the present Muslim rulers, scholars and public were infidels, and therefore demanded the establishment of a single Islamic state, said Al-Nujaimi.

Not to worry - the MSM fears Britney's driving skills significantly more than 1,500 jihadis released. They are aided by a political candidate referring to them as "thugs" (eyes rolling). Even more jihadis released in Thailand:
Thailand killing Moslems for the Cause
Snippets: The Islamic militants are particularly upset that the police have finally gotten the names of key terrorist leaders. This has led to more raids on villages where these leaders are hiding out. It's pretty obvious that someone is talking, and the terrorists are not sure who they can trust anymore. Islamic death squads are killing known, or suspected, police informers.
Obeying a court order, the army released 384 Moslem men it had arrested earlier in the year. The men were suspected of participating in, or supporting, Islamic terrorism, and themselves potential terrorists. There was not enough evidence for a formal charge, but the army wanted to see if holding these men would convince any of them to help with counter-terrorism efforts, or if their absence reduce the level of terrorist violence. The army will not discuss any intelligence obtained from the released men. The Islamic terrorist violence has declined this year, but it's unclear if that was connected with the imprisonment of those 384 men.

There are no specific terror threats to next week's Mideast peace conference scheduled in Annapolis, Md., although authorities will be keeping an eye out for "lone-wolf" terrorists who might act outside of what observers are predicting.

Iran has produced nuclear fuel pellets for its 40-megawatt heavy water nuclear reactor, Vice President Gholam Reza Aghazadeh said.
This was a technological advancement in the cycle of nuclear fuel, according to the state news agency.
“Fuel pellets to be used in the 40-megawatt Arak research reactor have been produced,” IRNA quoted Aghazadeh as saying.
Iran has gone a long way in building a 40-megawatt heavy water nuclear reactor in Arak, central Iran, which the US fears could be used to produce plutonium and build nuclear weapons.

Sudan: Jihad a tradition not stopped by peace agreements
- President al-Bashir orders the government paramilitary PDF to open mujahideen training camps
By Elizabeth Kendal

Special to ASSIST News Service
AUSTRALIA (ANS) — This posting provides an update to the World Evangelical Alliance Religious Liberty News & Analysis posting of Wednesday 3 October 2007 entitled: “Southern Sudan: On the path to war.” That posting may be accessed at http://www.worldevangelicals.org/news/view.htm?id=1434.
On Saturday 17 November Sudan’s President Omar Hassan al-Bashir addressed a rally organised by Sudan’s Popular Defence Forces (PDF) to celebrate their 18th anniversary. The PDF, which is known for its atrocities, was created in 1989 as a government paramilitary to fight alongside the Sudan Armed Forces in the jihad against the Southerners. It has subsequently been deployed against Darfur, as it is widely accepted that the PDF and the janjaweed are often one and the same. President al-Bashir’s words have sent a shock wave through South Sudan and Darfur.
The Sudan Tribune reports (17 Nov): “Addressing a mass rally this morning at the Wad-Medani Stadium (capital of Al-Jazeera State), some 200 miles south of Khartoum, celebrating the 18th anniversary of the Popular Defence Forces (PDF), President al-Bashir ordered to the PDF to open its camps and mobilize troops and get prepared for any eventuality. ‘Now we order the PDF, the legitimate son of the people, to open their camps and gather the Mujahideen [holy warriors] not to wage war but it is obvious that we should be ready.’” (Link 1)
According to an Associated Press report, al-Bashir also accused Western powers of lying about their motives in backing a 26,000-strong UN and African Union forces due in Darfur in January. “’Those Americans, those British, and those Europeans are not keen about the people of Darfur, or the people of Southern Sudan or the Sudanese people,’ he said. ‘They are all liars and hypocrites who are only interested in the riches and resources of Sudan.’” Al-Bashir also singled out Scandinavian countries “. . . where some media had reproduced a caricature of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad last year, and said Khartoum wouldn’t allow them to contribute troops. ‘Anyone who spoke blasphemously about the Prophet will not set a foot on Sudanese soil,’ he said.” (Link 2)
Al-Bashir’s belligerent words drew an immediate response from Darfurian rebel leaders who said al-Bashir’s directive was nothing other than a declaration of war. Agence France Presse reports (18 Nov): “A Darfur rebel faction said Sunday that a call by Sudanese President Omar al-Beshir to reopen auxiliary training camps was ‘a declaration of war’ and that it was putting its troops on high alert. ‘The Sudan Liberation Movement-Unity decrees a state of maximum alert for its troops following the Sudanese president’s declarations about opening Popular Defence Force training camps,’ the SLM-Unity said in a statement. ‘We take this decision as a declaration of all-out war in Sudan.’” (Link 3)
Southerners have also moved to a state of high alert. The Sudan Tribune reports (20 Nov): Pagan Amumu, “. . . the Secretary General of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), said that a state of mobilisation had begun in the south in reaction to the statements that were issued ordering the Popular Defence Forces to prepare and open camps.
“However, he stressed that war was not a favourable option for the SPLM but that it would defend itself if others began. He added that military capabilities had increased on both sides and that the SPLA’s capabilities had developed a hundred times.” (Link 4)
Amumu’s boast (if it reflects truth) exposes the degree to which both sides have been violating the Comprehensive Peace Accord: as Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed of the ruling National Congress Party (NCP, formerly the National Islamic Front) rightly notes, the Comprehensive Peace Agreement prohibits the increase of military capabilities. (Link 4)
(For a copy of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement’s ceasefire arrangements, see link 5.)
MUJAHIDEEN MOBILISE
By Tuesday 20 November, Reuters news agency was reporting that young supporters of President al-Bashir were responding to his call. “The Youth Department Secretary of Bashir’s dominant National Congress Party (NCP), Haj Majed Suwar, told state media that members had ‘started assembling Mujahideen who (were) waiting eagerly to execute the president’s order’.
“Suwar told the state-controlled Sudanese Media Centre the youth department was preparing to open training camps in response to the president’s call. The news agency quoted Suwar as saying Jihad was a tradition that could not be stopped by signing peace agreements.” (Link 6)

INDICTMENT IN CASE INVOLVING BOMB THREATS TO AIRPORT
(McALLEN, Texas) A 19-year-old U.S. citizen living in Reynosa, Mexico, has been indicted by a McAllen Grand Jury with two counts of providing false and misleading information in two internet threats to the McAllen Miller International Airport, United States Attorney Don DeGabrielle announced today.
Juan Rodrigo Rodriguez has been charged by indictment for knowingly and intentionally conveying false and misleading information on at least two occasions to the management of McAllen Miller International Airport. On Aug. 22 and Sept. 7, 2007, the defendant conveyed through a web posting the existence of bombs or explosives at the airport that would detonate in a short period of time. In each instance, no bomb or explosives were found.
Rodriguez was arrested Oct. 30, 2007, by FBI agents and appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos. At that time, the court ordered Rodriguez temporarily detained in federal custody, without bond, pending further preliminary hearings. On Nov. 1, 2007, the judge granted bond in the amount of $100,000 with a requirement of a 20 percent cash deposit.
According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint originally filed Oct. 29, 2007, from between Aug. 22 and Sept. 10, 2007, the McAllen Miller International Airport received four separate bomb threats via the message board on the airports website. Two threats were sent Aug. 22, and the other two were sent Sept. 7 and Sept. 10. All were written in Spanish and sent via e-mail with false return e-mail addresses. The threats claimed C-4 explosives were located inside the airport or in a vehicle parked in a lot by the airport, or that bombs were aboard in-bound Continental Airlines flights. In the threat sent Sept. 7, the defendant demanded airport personnel deliver $20,000 to the reception desk area of Holiday Inn hotels, but no one approached the hotels reception desk on either date to claim the money. On Sept. 10, the last of the four threats was received by the airport and claimed explosives were inside the airport and aboard an outbound Continental Airlines flight to Houston from McAllen.
All bomb threats prompted immediate action by the FBI, the Transportation Security Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection and local law enforcement agencies to secure the airport and ensure the safety of the flying public. However, no bombs or explosives were found.
An investigation to identify the computer from which the messages originated and the location of that computer was immediately initiated. On Sept. 15, according to the complaint, a computer using the same Internet Protocol address and web browser as the one from which the threats had originated was located in Reynosa, Mexico. On Sept. 22, the computer from which the threats allegedly originated was secured at the residence of Rodriguezs parents in Reynosa, Mexico. A forensic examination of that computer allegedly confirmed the computer was used to access the airport and Continental Airlines websites.
A conviction for providing false information and hoaxes such as these carries a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
A criminal indictment is merely a formal charge of a crime, not evidence. A defendant is presumed innocent unless convicted through due process of law.
