Elliot Spitzer Claims No Connection with Driver's License and Voting. Spitzer is a Liar.
HETRY: One of your most vocal opponents has of course been right here in the walls of CNN, Lou Dobbs. He actually went as far last week as to call you an idiot before apologizing for saying that on the air.
Let's hear what he said last night.

LOU DOBBS, CNN ANCHOR: I really don't care anymore about what this governor, this arrogant abuser of his office -- and the just absolute disdain with which he holds both the truth and the citizens of the state of New York. This man is sitting here putting together a three-tier system in which he is going to give voter registration privileges to people he knows are illegal?

CHETRY: Do illegal immigrants get voter registration privileges?
SPITZER: Look, I'm not going to demean myself by getting into a back and forth with somebody who on TV spews venom, hate and fundamental misinformation. Of course not. He knows it.
This has absolutely nothing to do with voting. This is something seven other states do for security.
The director of Homeland Security has said we improve security by knowing who is there. As I said, it's beneath me, it's beneath my office, to, in any way, involve myself with Lou Dobbs. And I think his knowing spread of venom is beneath CNN as well.
CHETRY: Now, so just that we're clear, though, if you're undocumented you will not be able to vote even if you do get this ID?
SPITZER: Of course not. Voting is limited to citizenship. This is getting a driver's license so we know who is driving so that fewer accidents and more security. Security is what we are about. Understand, we got into 9/11 because people wanted to ignore the problem. We're not ignoring the problem of the million people here in New York. We're confronting it.
Confronting it by saying they're here, let's know who they are, give them licenses, let us forge a system that permits us to improve security, which is precisely what the federal government has said we would do. Seven other states have done it.
The sort of racist venom that has underlined much of the criticism I think is shameful because what we are really talking about here is security and how we run our society.
CHETRY: Governor Spitzer, I'm glad you came on our show and had a chance to share your side. We appreciate it.

Under Motor-Voter getting a license DOES equal citizenship, as they usher you right over to the registration table/kiosk before the plastic on the card cools off. Seen it too often ever since it was enacted.
But we shouldn’t question why our License Bureaus are clogged with Spanish speakers more often than not.
Vote fraud isn’t real? Puh-leeeze! It’s the only way to get Hillary and other villains higher office. Guess she owes Billy a retirement while never asking who the current girl is.
Do they need to give a social security number in NY to get a license, you do here in NJ (of course I know illegals have NO PROBLEMO giving fake soc. sec. #’s, so it’s really a moot point)
If it weren’t for vote fraud, the RATS would never win another election outside a big city.
It’s not just the motor-voter. New York has been complaining that the last census undercounted the population. More people mean more members of Congress, even if the people are illegal.
On another note, my daughter lost her passport and I downloaded the form for a replacement from the State Dept. site. When we went to the Post Office the clerk demanded a driver’s license from her. However, she doesn’t have one. I said that a driver’s license wasn’t proof of citizenship and it was not required as per the website. My daughter presented her birth certificate, her social security card and an old passport from when she was a child. He kept insisting that those items were not enough and that the government web site was wrong in stating that a birth cert. was sufficient proof.
I stood my ground and also mentioned a U.S. Congressman who I have access to. He grudgingly sent the passport in and guess what - the new one arrived in a week.
Isn't that the truth!

As to Spitzer, the reason Hillary hedged and tried to defend Spitzer on the Dem debate last nite was because she is behind what he is doing. They are in cahoots. It’s all about getting the illegals vote. Especially if Rudy Guiliani is the candidate, and NY would be up for grabs. Having the illegal aliens voting will help make sure Hillary wins. Spitzer will throw himself on his sword to try to get this vote fraud licensing fiasco thru for Hitlery. She’s probably promised him some position or payoff if she wins the Presidency. To me this is so obvious.
The same attempt will be made here in Illinois where I live. Rod Blagojevich, our Dem Governor is also trying to get licenses for illegals through our State legislature. For the same reason, illegal votes for the Dems, and in particular Hillary. And Blago will then benefit from whatever the payoff is.
Judicial Watch just filed suit against Spitzer over this licensing voter fraud attempt today. Dobbs will keep this on the front burner, and so should every Pub who can walk and talk at the same time (I know, that leaves some out, like our President and Jerk, oops, I mean Chertoff, who is Elliott Spitzer’s good friend, I might mention).
I think you are looking at a billion-dollar lawsuite...which if Spitzer has his way...some punk lawyer kid will start the case against the state...saying they are denying him his guaranteed rights as a voter. I’m thinking the supreme court can only side with the kid because of the way this is all structured.
But again, I go back to the idea of a national ID card (which most European countries require), which is a separate card from your drivers license. Once we all agree on this...these governors and special interest groups can corral illegals into the voting episode.
The New Media can’t pound this one hard enough. The MSM has been ever so careful not to breathe a word of that specific detail.
Rush was the first one to bring up the Motor Voter connection. This is going to turn up the outrage to 11.

register to vote with this "drivers license". He dodged that part, didn't he? The way he parsed his words I bet you absolutely CAN register to vote but you would have to LIE where you affirm yourself an American citizen.

At the polls if they can not speak English we should object to them voting. As far as I know all Federally funded public schools must teach in English. So all native citizens speak and understand English. Also to gain naturalization citizenship one must pass a test in English comprehension. So all naturalized citizens speak and understand English. If they can not speak English they are not citizens. This brings to mind the question; Why are any ballots printed in any language other than English?
NYC idiots voted this crooked monster lawyer in , now they have to deal with it.
Thats why we have an electoral college, no matter how many SOB's vote for POTUS in NY their electoral votes stay the same.
SOB thinks he's a King, he'll probably find a way to sue CNN and indict Dobbs.

In either case (and there are no other possibilities with this guy unless he's working for AlQaida) he should be REMOVED FROM OFFICE and placed in an appropriate hospital.
