CULLMAN, Ala. -- Members of one Ku Klux Klan organization say they will assemble at the courthouse Nov. 10 to show their opposition to another Klan group that plans an anti-immigration rally there that day.
Ken Mier, who described himself as an investigator for the Alabama Ku Klux Klan and the national office of the Ku Klux Klan LLC, said in an e-mail to The Cullman Times that his group is against the tactics of the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, which held an anti-immigration protest last month in Athens.
"We are opposed to the ignorance and stupidity as displayed by the individuals that thumbed their nose at the area churches by continuing to use racial slurs, threats and avoided Christian deportment," he said.
The newspaper's story Monday quoted Mier as saying his group was part of a silent protest at the Indiana-based National Knights' rally held in Athens in September. He said his organization also was disgusted that the National Knights would interfere with the Trail of Tears ride.
At the Athens protest, held several hours after thousands of motorcyclists traveled through the city on the annual Trail of Tears ride, several Klan members gave anti-immigration speeches, while several hundred people, some from area churches, protested the Klan activity.
The Cullman City Council has approved a permit for the National Knights to protest outside the courthouse Nov. 10. Cullman Mayor Donald Green said the second Klan group would have to get a permit, too.
Are you saying that a half dozen 300 pound ignorant rednecks (Klansmen) could survive a fight with even three members of La Raza?
I think my brain just short circuited trying to figure this one out.
These loudmouths you see on TV , are just that,,..
Which one?!?!?! La Raza, The Klan With A Tan or the Original?.............
Klansmen v La Raza ... KK has no shot ...
now maybe some of the asshat Skins over at Stormfront ... they might have a shot ...
HAHHAHHA....
Oh, wait.
Was that PC?
With trumandogz. Both are racist; one has a more infamous history of violence, though.
Historic or present day?
You could retitle the article Feds protest FBIers and still be accurate.
LOL! You are so right.
Since other freepers have posted this, does this sentence not make sense to some other freepers? So the "individuals" "avoided Christian deportment"? And what's with the use of "area churches" rather than 'local churches'? Maybe American vernacular changes that much across the country, or maybe that klansman just doesn't speak coherently--personally not one to type, but wouldn't run around trying to be quoted by a news reporter either.
Add onto that, you still hear stories of people of African descent being tied to a truck and then driven until they die. Can you come up with one lynching or murder that is the squarely on the figurative shoulders of La Raza?
“If La Raza and the KKK mixed it up, who would you root for?...............I’m so confuuuuuused.................”
Well, if 10% of the Klan are government infiltrators and another 10% are undercover ADL agitators and lets say another 10% belong to various other groups then of the 20 Klan demonstrators that usually turn up at demonstrations that leaves 14 actual Kluckers to oppose LaRaza, Mecha, MoveOn, etc...
It ain’t enough.
***A Klan rally to protest a Klan Rally....***
Throw a few Bald Knobbers in and watch the fun!
Reminds me of “Monty Python’s Life of Brian.” The Judean People’s Front vs. The People’s Front of Judea.

SPLITTER!!
I found this:
The name Ku Klux Klan comes from kuklos, the Greek word for circle. A persistent myth has existed in the United States which alleges that the name comes from the sound of the hammer of a rifle being cocked.
