Human race will 'split into two different species'

The human race will one day split into two separate species, an attractive, intelligent ruling elite and an underclass of dim-witted, ugly goblin-like creatures, according to a top scientist.

100,000 years into the future, sexual selection will mean that two distinct breeds of human will have developed.

The alarming prediction comes from evolutionary theorist Oliver Curry from the London School of Economics, who says that the human race will have reached its physical peak by the year 3000.

Just about anything could happen in the next 100 years to change things beyond anyones imagination much less a thousand years...

Designer children, probably.

Gene filtering, probably.

Replacement parts, probably.

A serious dent in the aging process, probably.

What else? Who knows... And this "scientist" guess isn't likely much better than anyone else's guess.

The human race has always been able, through technology, to sidestep many evolutionary pressures altogether, and as our technology grows, evolutionary pressures become increasingly irrelevant for us. Genomic research, biotech advances, nanotechnology - all will allow humans to determine their own development.

Close...I think, just my opinion of course, that what this is saying is that everyone will look like someone else thinks they should look. An end to random genetic combinations.
