WASHINGTON (AFP) Hillary Clinton may be the Democratic Party's 2008 presidential front-runner but she also tops the list when voters are asked for whom they would never, ever cast a ballot, a poll out Monday found.
Fully 50 percent of US voters say that when it comes to Clinton, she can campaign all she likes but there is no way in the world she can win their support, with her negative rating up slightly from 46 percent in March, the Zogby poll said.
Older voters were the most hostile to the attorney and former first lady-turned US senator, who is seeking to become the first woman US president. Fifty-nine percent of those over 65 said they would never vote for Clinton, according to the survey which ranked leading Democratic and Republican hopefuls

Now if we can just convince the other half.

“Now if we can just convince the other half.”
The other half is the MSM.
To: teddyballgame
Actually, we would only really need to convince some percentage of the other half. There are some out there who will never be convinced...

This is consistent with the same polling taken for months now.
Which is why all this "We need Rudy to win it for us" junk is hokum.

1/2 of voters would never vote for Hillary Clinton.
Rudy Giuliani has the majority identical views as Hillary Clinton.
Those 1/2 voters will never vote for Giuliani.
DON’T VOTE GIULIANI IN THE PRIMARY.
NO GIULIANI, NO PROBLEM.

It is encouraging that her negatives are so high, but I think ABH (anyone but Hillary) is a loser. The libs ran that campaign against Bush in 2004 and lost with John F”ing” Kerry.

So in other words those that are most likely to actually vote say they would never vote for her. Interesting eh.

This is encouraging -
no democrat has every gotten 50% of the vote for the presidency in 30 years.
And if 50% say “never”, we only have to convince a few more who “might” to “not”.

Need to get it over 60% to compensate for Democrat vote fraud.

Agreed. Just because half the people won’t vote for the Queen doesn’t mean they will vote for the person running against her.

Many are disgusted with the thought that she did nothing to stop her husband from “diddling” the help in the Oval Office. If she isn’t strong enough to stand up to a coward like him how can she possibly stand up to ruthless cold blooded men like Putin and Amiadinnerjacket?

I will gladly vote for Rudy to cancel out a vote for Clinton. I suspect many others will also.

These folks are not counting three very important Democrat constituencies: Illegals, Felons, and Dead People.
With those three groups voting 110% for Hillary!, she doesn’t have any problems.

I see your long term memory serves you well. Older people are smarter as a rule because of experience and knowing that for everything a person pretends to be, there is little comparison to the real person as a rule. And Hillary is almost the opposite of what she tries to pretend to be.

Pretty much reinforces what I have been hearing anecdotally from hardened liberals. They hate Hillary. So maybe it would be a good thing to have as the nominee. Seems like it wouldn’t take a lot of effort to really drive up her negatives even more. Whatever is said, she remains a very polarizing person and she will never be able to escape that. People know Hillary and they have a well established opinion of her that will not easily be changed due to slick advertising or spin.
