This is encouraging -

no democrat has every gotten 50% of the vote for the presidency in 30 years.

And if 50% say “never”, we only have to convince a few more who “might” to “not”.

All of three (3.) (III.) Democrats have been elected president with over 50% of the popular vote since the Civil War -- FDR, LBJ, and (amazingly) Jimmy Carter. Nevertheless, they seem to get elected all too often.

Usually there's a third-party conservative splitting the anti-Bolshevik vote. Beware if Rudy wins the nomination.
