I’m praying for the troops and the American public thank you very much.
I have no use for Bush. He hasn’t stood up for me, and I’m not here to pull his bacon out of the fire.

Yeah, but as Coulter says, at least Mitt is spinning (or flopping) to our side. While Rudy’s trying to flip the party to the dark side.
If it comes down to the two of them (and it seems to be), I’ll not only take Mitt... I’ll support him whole-heartedly.

Dear Sir: See you on the Terry Anderson thread.
How’s that?
Sorry for the slight!:)

Almost anyone else would have written a book by now to put the blame back where it rightfully belongs. But Rummy has too much class, honor and love of country...So, so true.

Im serving in Korea, so I only get AFN News. The schedule for that makes it inconvenient to watch the debate. WOW, first thank you, thank you, thank you for your service. I had no clue and I am sorry if I missed that in an earlier post.
Maybe some of the more intelligent internet/media savvy individuals here on FR can help you to get access to watch the debate.

Hunter is the man. Thompson may be who we have to settle for, but that isnt a bad thing IMO. Thompson is a good man. My thoughts exactly.

I’m praying for a Thompson / Hunter ticket. I’d rather see a Hunter / Thompson ticket.
Romney is a good politician. His demeanor is presidential, but I’m just not able to back him due to his left leaning history.
I appreciate your take on it. Thanks for the comments.

I’m not sure what President George Washington would look like in one of these debates. Frankly, I find them rather demeaning. I’d rather read their public white sheets on the issues, and review their actual history voting and otherwise in office.

No, its just that the rest of your line was full of cliches. So don’t vote for him, big deal. You Phone Booth Party conservatives got us Do Nothing Nancy and Dirtbag Harry and you want to continue your perfection candidate to get the Trifecta.

We need more people like you on Free Republic right now. I mean, I understand the vitriol against Giuliani as he is the enemy of all that is good and conservative. ;-) But what I don't understand is why the Thompson supporters hate the Romney supporters. And why the Hunter supporters hate the Thompson supporters. Etc.
Maybe it's because we're a pack of attack dogs. If we don't have an external enemy to hunt, we snap at each other. And we're all circling over who gets to get the party's next alpha dog. LOL.
Wow, that's a sicko explanation. Probably a grain of truth in it though.
I agree that we need to try to come together. I'm looking at these candidates and trying to like them all, trying to see which ones show promise to beat the Xlinton machine which will have more money than God in 2000. Who comes across in speeches, in debate, in extended personal interviews.
I have my personal preferences for our candidate but I do want a candidate to beat the Dims in 2008. Better yet, one able to swing the late-breaking shallow indie voters to our ticket and help us make gains in the House and even the Senate. It requires considerable charm, personal skills, persuasive ability.

I am watching the re-play. Giuliani was just bragging about all the weddings he did as Mayor of New York. Even though he was a public official - as a Catholic, is he supposed to be performing weddings?

It’s on again if satellite has it. (Thank you for your service!) :^)
To: DoughtyOne
My concern about Fred is his health. He hasn’t looked well. But tonight, I have to admit, he looked much better.
If he’s well, I’d be thrilled with a Thompson/Hunter ticket.
