Mom' and 'Dad' banished by California
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | October 13, 2007

"Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

"We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California," said Karen England, executive director of Capitol Resource Institute.

"With this decision, Gov. Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers."

"Arnold Schwarzenegger has delivered young children into the hands of those who will introduce them to alternative sexual lifestyles," said Randy Thomasson, president of Campaign for Children and Families, which worked to defeat the plans. "This means children as young as five years old will be mentally molested in school classrooms.

"Shame on Schwarzenegger and the Democrat politicians for ensuring that every California school becomes a homosexual-bisexual-transsexual indoctrination center," he said.

I am not too worried about what the loonies in NJ will do except for Garden State Equality Group. Our lawmakers are too busy being gay in rest stops or scamming us out of our money.

I don't perceive any functional difference between "which" and "that" in this law. Therefore, I don't think it has any effect on the meaning of this law. I could stand corrected if someone else can posit any legally different interpretations of these two words.

One: 66262. "Religion" includes all aspects of religious belief, observance, and practice and includes agnosticism and atheism.

Two: 51500. No teacher shall give instruction nor shall a school district sponsor any activity which that reflects adversely upon persons because of their race, sex, color, creed, handicap, national origin, or ancestry a characteristic listed in Section 220 .

SEC. 16. Section 51501 of the Education Code is amended to read:

51501. No textbook, or other instructional materials shall be adopted by the state board State Board or by any governing board for use in the public schools which that contains any matter reflecting adversely upon persons because of their race, sex, color, creed, handicap, national origin, or ancestry a characteristic listed in Section 220

. SEC. 17. Section 60044 of the Education Code is amended to read:

60044. No instructional materials shall be adopted by any governing board for use in the schools which that , in its determination, contains:

(a) Any matter reflecting adversely upon persons because of their race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, handicap, or occupation a characteristic listed in Section 220 .

...

Regarding no. ONE: - ""Religion" includes .... agnosticism and atheism. "

Hmmm- Couldn't a good lawyer interpret that to mean that they are naming agnosticism and atheism as religions? Seems like a lot of garters could get snapped on that one.

and # two: I would think a good lawyer could say this means that NO books or instruction like "Johnny has Two Daddies" could be used or taught - as it would reflect adversely on most peoples religion/religious beliefs.

Legally, it seems like a neutral agenda where NO one religion or sexual orientation can be taught or otherwise introduced in the schools? IE - just teach basic education? Could not a good lawyer interpret it so?

California Bashers? Please elucidate where I bashed your state in anything I’ve said. It appears to me that the only person here whose bashed anyone’s state in our conversation was you. Then you accuse me of doing what you did? How droll.

"If you want to use a restroom that matches your gender identity … you should be allowed to do so," it advises. "Whenever students are divided up into boys and girls, you should be allowed to join the group or participate in the program that matches your gender identity as much as possible."

What a great way for pervert hetero 17-year-old boys to use the cramped girls' rooms to engage in perversions. Or what a great way for boys and girls (or any other grouping!) to engage in sex in the bathrooms.

It is a great way for socialists to achieve their goal of destroying our Democratic Republic and replace it with a strong centralized form of government. The socialists must attack the foundation, the family, in order to take power away from the people. They attack the family by making it dysfunctional. They make it dysfunctional by blurring the lines of gender identity to confuse children at the expense of their parents authority and others such as legalizing drugs. This is only part of a movement that goes far beyond endorsing an abhorrent behavior.

What is up with the “Kennedy men” not wearing a tee-shirt? I mean do they ever look at their bodies in the mirror? I am ten pounds over weight and would not be caught dead outside without a shirt and I am not even a celebrity.

It's not "California bashing."

However, The status of alternate lifestyles is getting so confusing that even Barney Frank can't keep up. I'm definitely going to want signs or name tags so that I can keep up with the players.

Searching the news only yields rare editorials or Christian news service coverage of SB 777 (which removes the word "sex" from the definition of special classes in favor of "section 210.7: "'Gender' means sex, and includes a person's gender identity and gender related appearance and behavior whether or not stereotypically associated with the person's assigned sex at birth.") and AB 394 (which requires the State and schools to “publicize antidiscrimination and harassment policies” and “post antidiscrimination and antiharassment policiesin all schools and offices, including staff lounges and pupil government offices.”) and quite a bit more about the division between the "gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered" in the US House.

Read this article about the fight between gays and lesbians and the "transgendered."

"Until now, the problem has been that nobody has ever seen a trans person," Sehr said. "Before, the thinking was, 'Oh, they're just men in dresses and girls with beards. They're not worth the effort.' In their minds, this was not a civil rights issue. People saw it as a totally sexual thing, when nothing could be further from the truth. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with gender identity."

This generation, Sehr said, has more experience with the issue because more transgender people are being public about it.

contrasted with this this one:

Since the vast majority of us enter into relationships that would benefit from legal recognition, progress on that front would affect almost every single gay or bisexual person. But for now we must wait indefinitely because our "leaders" have decided that protecting transsexuals from workplace discrimination is more important than winning basic legal recognition for our relationships.

I will place it in Gods hands. The Lord is not someone to continually cross. Just maybe the BIG ONE, earthquake will be coming soon to California.New York being hit twice by terrorists always reminded me that New York was the birthplace for legal abortions. And the enemy has told us they will come back to New York.
