If Rudy gets the nomination, I for one will campaingn all out for him for the following reasons.

1. Abortion: There is a chance that Rudy will appoint to the Supreme Court someone like Roberts, Alito, Thomas or Scalia. Even Ronald Reagan gave us Sandra Day O’Conner, and the not so conservative George Bush Sr. gave us Clarence Thomas.

2.. The gun control case could likely be put to bed if the USSC delivers a reasonable opinion on the case that was appealed from D.C.

3. Rudy has a long history of being a law and order guy. He could do no worse enforcing boarder laws than either Reagan or George W. Bush.

4. He’s the one guy who has proved that he can run a government well in a liberal environment. Mitt Romney got elected in Mass., but got very little accomplished.

5. Rudy at least seems to be able to handle a political fight. The current administration has utterly failed at the politics required to get stuff done. It doesn’t matter how conservative a candidate is if he can’t get conservative legislation passed.

(CNN) — Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito had a private meeting with the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Friday as he sought to reassure lawmakers that he would respect legal precedent on abortion rights and put his personal views aside.

WASHINGTON — Supreme Court nominee John Roberts said Tuesday that the landmark 1973 ruling legalizing abortion was “settled as a precedent of the court” as he was immediately pressed to address the divisive issue on the second day of his confirmation hearings.

There is a chance just isn’t good enough.

If Rudy gets the nomination,

What will happen "if Rudy gets the nomination" and THEN it is made public that he is a bisexual? Or, maybe something worse.

Do you worry at all about things like that?

Rudy has a long history of being a law and order guy.

Jack-booted-thug extraordinaire, and one-time leader of a virtual Nanny/Police State (NYC), RINO-rudy's idea of "lawr" and "order", is sh*tting on our 2nd Amendment rights.

NO THANKS.

I support Duncan Hunter. However, I WILL VOTE for whoever is the Republican Nominee...if it’s Fred, Mitt, RUDY...and of course Duncan.

You conveniently left off the fact that Rudy finds Ginsberg acceptable too.

BTW, I find it fascinating that you use "ALPA" in your nick. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't that union ROUTINELY endorse Democratic candidates? Enough said.

He’s the one guy who has proved that he can run a government well in a liberal environment.

He left New York with the second-highest debt in the nation.

Rudy has a long history of being a law and order guy.

And, of being a gun grabber and abusing Constitutional rights of citizens.

There is a chance that Rudy will appoint to the Supreme Court someone like Roberts, Alito, Thomas or Scalia.

There isn't a snow ball's chance in hell that he will nominate a justice that would overturn Roe. Democrats would have veto power over any nominee and there is no chance Giuliani is going to expend political capital putting conservative justices on the court.

Me too. And for many of the same reasons. Also his opponent makes me puke.

“If Rudy gets the nomination,”

Explain any scenario where Rudy gets more than 30% of the Republican delegates.
