That’s because you still see Bush as the moral Christian he advertises himself to be. If you look past the facade at the pattern of his deeds you see someone more akin to John “Turncoat” Kerry.

The Texas governor doesn't have the power to pardon death row inmates.

Texas Gov Ricky will probably pardon the peon per GW’s wishes.

Tex guv has extremely limited power to do that. He can unilaterally grant a 30-day delay for an execution, but anything else must come from the Board of Pardons and Paroles.

Doom on me....my bad....commute the sentence was what I should have said.

He was sentenced to deasth in 1994, nearly 14 years ago...

why is he still breathing?

The two girls, age 14 and 16 are long dead...after a brutal gang-rape...

They were not given leniency...

Here is a compromise, send their dead bodies back to Mexico for burial. ;)

IF it was anyone but a Mexican Bush would let them fry. What is it with him? He is selling America down the river because of his love of Mexicans/Mexico. They need to tell Bush to kiss off and zap this murderer.

Bush is a scumbag. His allegence to Mexico is greater than to America. The Dixie Chicks were right. I’m ashamed Bush is from Texas.

This story is unbelievable. It has so many implications if the court finds in favor of these murderers. The fathers of these girls would have an absolute right to take Justice into their own hands being failed by society’s compact. We have a right and moral duty to protect our community and society, we have an obligation to see justice served. Thats the way I fell and that is the natural right we all have.

I can't read about or even think about what happened to these poor girls without getting physically ill.

Bush needs to be tarred, feathered and ridden out of town on a rail for keeping the perp alive even one more day.

What is he trying to do? Get his approval rating even lower than the congressional approval rating?

"First amnesty now this. Maybe the libtards should put impeachment back on the table..Talk about stupidity, and I voted for you twice"

Well, I voted for the turkey three times. I've been wondering about impeachment also, but that is way too slow. Because Bush is representing foreign citizens in an action that is contrary to the interests of American citizens and murder victims, I believe that he has abdicated the interests of his country and its law-abiding citizens in favor of convicted Mexican criminals and other interests of the Mexican Government, therefore we the people should demand immediate implementation of Amendment XXV Section 4, which provives for the Vice President's assumption of the office of Acting President pursuant to a decision of a majority of "the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide". ENOUGH AMNESTY, MR. BUSH!

Thanks for posting the link.

I called the White House switchboard @ 202-456-1414 >> comments direct 202-456-1111 (must wait; they're busy over this).

RNC call was also suggested: 202-863-8500. They're busy, too.

Hi ! People of the world, the outside world I have not known in so long. My life is in Black & White like the old Western movies. But unlike the movies the good guys don't always finish first. ...

Now, since I'm part of the new Death Row unit in Livingston, Texas, I'm without TV and never will see it again. No TVs on this unit. They say its a luxury.

Note that the name of his gang is "Black and White". He's shameless. Needless to say, his victims were brutally deprived of so much more than watching television.

Could the president read of the girl’s gang rape and murder and then look their parents in the eye and still defend the murderer?

Bush hasn't backed down on this yet, and this is very public (hell it's in front of the Supreme Court) so I don't see why not. He's not stupid, he knows what this monster did. What Bush's reasons are for trying to stop this, I don't know.

I know how you feel.

Bush refuses to pardon our Border patrolmen, and yet he is fighting for the rights of this MURDERER??!!. I guess we know once and for all whose side he is on. The only photo left I want to see of him, is when he walks out of the White House for the last time..

Glenn Beck is reporting on this today and tomorrow.

This is my fervent prayer..."God help us"..

Bush is a @#($* moron. I am anxiously awaiting his last day in office. He makes me long for the days of his dad's presidency. Can he get more stupid? Experience says simply "yes."
