Al Qaeda 'Re-Emerging' in Pakistan Sanctuaries

The U.S. military said Tuesday it expected Al Qaeda to continue its "re-emergence" in sanctuaries in Pakistan's tribal areas from where it supported attacks in Afghanistan.

Sanctuary was provided to Al Qaeda and Taliban rebels after Islamabad signed a peace deal with militants in a desperate attempt to quell the unrest in its federally administered areas in September 2006, a U.S. military official said.

The militants called off the deal in July this year after Pakistani security forces raided a radical mosque in Islamabad where rebels had massed. Dozens were killed in those raids. Full story...

Yesterday one of the four defendants in a terror case in Odense, Denmark’s third largest city, revealed in court that in the summer of 2006 a fellow conspirator had suggested building a remote-controlled car bomb and driving it into my private home in order to kill me.

6 years since the 911 attacks and the MSM has successfully put the sheeple back to sleep. Each day that passes brings us closer to the next attack. Everyone should do one thing a day to prepare. Store a gallon of water or pick up an extra can of beans or stew on the next trip to the store.

Saw a report about the vulnerability of the power grid. The grid goes down for an extended period it will get very ugly.

She said the item “looked like a cellphone” but was uncertain of its identity.

Howdy folks, couple of thoughts before heading to bed - 5am comes way too early.

We all have worries. We all have doubts. Just remember what’s really important - those around you who love and care for you just as you love and care for them.

Nobody wakes up in the morning and knows that this will be their last day on the planet with their loved ones. Nobody. No one wakes up and thinks to themselves that this will be the day they die.

Remember what’s really important. We all tend to forget.

If I’m blessed enough to wake tomorrow morning, I will be thankful.

If I’m blessed enough to make it home tomorrow afternoon, I will be thankful and will not take my friends (more family then friends, I’m blessed that way) for granted, nor the fact that I made it through the day intact and uninjured.

Folks, there’s plenty of worry to be had all the way around. While we should be aware of these threats and prepare for them as best we can, don’t forget what’s really important - how you treat the ones you love. Let them know how you feel, it may be your last chance to do so.

Good night folks. May you all have a peaceful night, wake up well rested tomorrow and ready to take on tomorrow’s challenges and tell the one’s you love that you love them. In doing this peace will be found.
