Gonzo illustrates the need for pubbies with steel cajones!
We need Republicans at all levels of govt. that are fearless and can talk back to the dirty dems when they start reinventing the truth like they are so prone to do.

One of the big reasons they hated John Bolton.

Wallace pushing the GOP brand damage meme...drives me crazy.

Look for at least 12 months of non-stop Congressional hearings...even if they have to have a hearing about whether or not to hold a hearing.

Panel up: Brit, Nina, Bill Kristol, Juan....

First topic: Craig. Brit is so sound of mind and really gets it and says it all so well. LOL, Brit says: had he been a dem it would have been completely different! Love it! and OH SO TRUE.

Nina brings up VItter again, its the dem talking point. Whats good for Craig should be good for Vitter. Too funny, but oh so typical.

Kristol once again is spot on. His behavior was personal not in his senatorial role. Will he bring up Hsu? (NOPE). He concurs the republicans need to clean house and they are so doing.

Juan: Well...since Craig didn’t really demonstrate remorse, so he is a bad man. “The party is worried about the brand”...another talking point. Good on Bill Kristol...talkinga bout the democrats double standard; they stood up for Slick Willy and his bj’s and we are proud the republicans are concerned about this, and essentially laughs that the democrats are concerned about the morales of the republicans and not about the morales of their own party. Spot on. Kristol has been great recently.

it goes from deep into Mexico to Canada and is a half mile wide here in the US.

Superhighway?

Per other reports, it will eventually have offshoot highways going toward St. Louis and northwestward toward New England, going across the South to Florida, and another heading toward Alaska.

The Mexico through Kansas City to Manitoba is only Phase I.

But per some, this NO super highway intent. It doesn't exist. It is tinfoil alert.

The NASCO website seems to disagree:

NASCO members include cities, counties, states, provinces and private sector representatives along the Corridor in Canada, the United States and Mexico, dedicated to maximizing the efficiency and security of their existing trade and transportation infrastructure. The NASCO Corridor represents the existing trade and transportation infrastructure roughly shadowing U.S. Interstate Highways 35, 29 and 94, and the connecting transportation infrastructure in Canada and Mexico critical to national and international trade. This includes major intermodal "inland ports" along the corridor and under development.

Brit’s good today. Did you catch how he added “Bill Clinton toughed it out” to Kristol’s list of Democrats who toughed out unsavory personal behavior??? ;-)

Ah, yes, the Bird in Hand!

I went there once and had everything they had on draught, one pint at a time, starting from the left. Admittedly, the hard cider was totally unexpected, but not too bad (and I was feeling no pain once the publican got to that spout!).

I tell you a funny story about rosemary. As some who follow this talk show thread each week know we had some fence panels blow down in the early part of this year. Due to dad being hospitalized and then when he came home loosing his hearing aid we have only just got round to replacing them.

Our neighbours were kind enough to help and even let us put the new panels on their lawn whilst they were away and they erected the fence this week for us, even painting it.

Well when the panels were delivered one of the guys said what is that nice smell a bit like lavender but it is not lavender. I looked down and there was a very mature bush of Rosemary. My mum had had various herbs growing over the years and where this was growing had been a sort of herb garden rockery before we put the original fence around the top end of the garden when it was just an open area.

Did I feel silly having bought dried Rosemary over the last 2 or 3 years since being back home with dad full time and all the while I had a fresh bush in the garden. I soon remedied this and we had fresh Rosemary with our roast lamb last week and mid week I put it in pork casserole.

Specter says Craig has only issued an ‘intent to resign’

Good grief, I can't believe he said that. Craig is OUT!

Well, maybe, maybe not.

Perhaps Senator Specter knows some Scottish Law tidbit that could save Craig.
