Okay I'll concede that Tang was probably paid for with a Robert Byrd "earmark" to Kraft Foods. And I'm onboard with the support of mil apps.

Hansen actually has overstepped his position. He ought to take his retirement and move to a Liberal university. What he has been doing is far from space program stuff anyway.

Some may have said this, but they are just alarmists. Tornados, and the thunderstorms that they result from, derive their energy from the average energy of the atmosphere. The average energy of the atmosphere is proportional to the absolute temperature, so any change will be according to the ratio of the 2 temperatures involved.

So for a 1^o change,

T_final/T_initial = 292/291 = 0.0034 = 0.34%

So, 0.34%/^oC is all the extra energy available to do what they claim. That's not a significant increase at all, and it's flat out fraud to claim that it is.

Thanks, I did see that and i agree. It has long been the method of alarmists that the get every opportunity to cry gloom and doom and yet never get called back to be confronted when they are wrong. But when they are right, that 1 time out of 100 they become media darlings for as long as the lamestream libs can drag it out.

I agree! What a waste of our money. How many times can they send that ridiculous Shuttle up just to watch newts breed in space? My husband said they ought to have a rolling money counter on the screen when they launch the thing to show how much it is costing us per second.

Funding time must be coming up again soon, because that is when NASA always releases another dire global warming prediction. It keeps the money flowing from Congress.

Well, that consider that tornadoes and thunderstorms are the result of ^weather^, not ^climate^.

Yes, but weather is the localized phenomena of the climate of a region and that also depends on the geography of that region. This is why the U.S. is the tornado capital of the world.
