We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.

This software is very gee-whiz enterprise-level stuff that integrates design with a rev-controlled engineering vault.
Well, this feature-rich software decided that it did not want to open a file I needed to complete before lunch, today. A file detailing the design of an enclosure for a high visibility project for one of our major customers; a project for which they’d like to see the first article delivered just ten days from now. In fact, it didn’t want to open any of the models or drawings associated with this project.
Finally, after eight hours, a tech phoned me up to tell me the issue was resolved, and I could get my work done.
The ONLY good thing about it is that I’m working on-site at that customer’s facility, and the offending software is theirs, so our org didn’t take the hit for the SNAFU.
