Guys with bulldog-like faces have been chick magnets throughout human evolutionary history.
A recent study of the skulls of human ancestors and modern humans finds that women, and thereby evolution, selected for males with relatively short upper faces.
The region between the brow and the upper-lip is scrunched proportionately to the overall size of their heads.
Among the men who fit the bill: Will Smith and Brad Pitt.
In a past study, researchers found a similar facial pattern in chimpanzees, with males having relatively shorter and broader faces compared with females, controlling for body size.
Men with "mini mugs" might have been most attractive to the opposite sex and thus most likely to attract mates for reproduction, passing along the striking features to the next generation and so forth, said lead study author Eleanor Weston, a paleontologist at the Natural History Museum in London.

While I completely understand the desire to avoid that which is overhyped and grotesquely popular (I myself went straight out and bought black headphones to use with my iPod). I will say this in defense of the Potter series: do you know anyone, anywhere who’s read them and didn’t like them?
No, the people I know who have read them love them. But these are also people who tend to be kind of infantile, have myspace pages with faeries all over them, tend toward whatever puerile popular, breathy love song is top 40 right now, and like pretty pony sparkly unicorn stuff.

Wow... you hang out with some pretty weird people.
I don’t hang out with them, I just know them. Little sister, co-worker, that sort of thing.
Heck, I'm a man and I won't argue with you on that one.
Well, I only know one person who's read them (actually a friend of my wife) and she really likes them, but I don't think that qualifies as much of a sampling for me. I'm not saying there not good, I'm just saying I'll likely never know that first hand (and I'm perfectly fine with that).
I have to switch channels when the Geico commercial airs.
I’m not turned on by the Brad Pitt type, but the caveman?
No way!
I’m in!
Of all the men in the world, (except for my husband), I think Sean Connery is the sexiest. Not sure he would make a good mate but he is just plain good looking.
It is hard for me to believe so many women do not find Brad Pitt handsome. He surely is.
Lol, guess that cheeseburger wasn’t “EYETALIAN” bread!!!
Very cute!

Johnny Donovan announces:
“It’s Rush on a roll!”
{Its Rush on a roll!}
That’s a good line, lol.
Every one of your points:
Yup!
I’ve always been partial to blond haired, blue-eyed guys, but especially the blue eyes. There’s just something about them.
