Dem Debate:

Ouch!

Kuchinich reminds most of the Senators on the stage that it was Democrat Senate who approved the Iraq war.

Did Rove remind Gregory that he himself (David) was a recipient of the leak (From Ari) and that Time Russert filed a false affidavit in the case?

No, Laverne, he did not. In fact, he said very little about the case generally speaking.

If MTP is coming up for any of you, listen for what Matt Cooper (Mr. Mandy Gruenwald) has to say about Rove. I think he called him a liar.

I have to admit, Strickland fills the bill. It remains to be seen whether Hillary will do that. Can Strickland overcome the negatives Hillary has?

I used to wonder why foreign leaders who were highly western educated turned against the USA. Now I realize it is what they learn on American campuses. “Stick it to the man”, “USA is the great Satan” etc.

I saw Dr. Deepak on Glenn Beck the other day saying a huge poll of Muslims world-wide he conducted with Gallup showed 94% of Muslims respect the USA, aspire to freedom and capitalistic way of life, etc. It is only the so-called “leaders” of Islam (largely educated) who hate us.

Thanks for that tidbit phsstpok....I was thinking it earlier. Rove comports himself extremely well against the media attacking him and the President. I hope he takes a more public position in countering the liberal lieing media. He was superb on FNS and I am going to break all my rules and watch MTP today.

They’re really bummed that hurricane Dean isn’t heading for New Orleans.

That's not all. See this FR thread. BDS strikes bigtime.

Former CNN Correspondent Suggests that Hurricane Dean is God's Wrath for President Bush

He and Gregory must have agreed on this in their phone call with the DNC yesterday.

I would also suggest that NBC & Fox nowadays working for the DNC. They never report ANYTHING that slams the democrat credibilty while go out of their way attacking Republicans - candidates as well as congressmen.

CNN-HLN is the only channel reporting fairly now.

Then I guess Donna Brazile was right when she told USA Today, “Karl outside the White House is more dangerous to Democrats than Karl inside the White House.”

#####

Donna Brazile was the master of poll numbers, projections, and tactics for the Gore getoutthevote in 2000. She recognizes the talent of Karl Rove. I am convinced that she KNEW that they had enough voters in the Florida county that Gore lost because of the butterfly ballot.

SENATOR Clinton will need somebody who is not a current or past Senator on her ticket to balance the lack of accomplishment inherent in the Senate with some form of action in a different level of government.

And if the Democrats had any sense, it would be somebody with actual accomplishments that Republicans and conservatives can recognize, not the 2008 equivalent of the guy that the Democrats thought was the liberal idea of a war hero.

Nope, just watching at this point. There are three I am looking at seriously but no reason to mention them now.

Good morning to you too. I presume FL will not have weather problems this morning.
