Received and will sort
I never thought Obama had a chance for the VP slot on Hillary’s ticket.
Obama brings nothing to her. She already would get much of the Black vote. She would already get much of the Illinois vote — favorite daughter status trumps Obama’s living there.
The two top contenders could be Warner (VA) and Bayh (IN). They have been with her on trips over seas, etc. She will look for a popular candidate in a toss-up state. She will make the choice based on the number of electoral votes the candidate brings. Richardson would only bring 6 NM votes.
Also, in the debate today, some of the glares she made while Obama was criticizing her spoke loudly that Obama was burying any VP change he may have had.
For those getting MTP next, they have old footage of Timmy interviewing Rove right after the election. Consider how much lumpier and more bulbous Timmy has come to look.
Aha! Satan knows how to disguise himself. You mustn't be fooled by Rove's pussycat demeanor. Ya gotta have faith (the Dem's have their own version of religion.)
Siegelman should pose no problem once the Hillary campaign rehabilitates his reputation. Just see how they are remaking the Bill Clinton reputation into the best president in modern times. Maybe even better than Jimmy Carter!
He and Gregory must have agreed on this in their phone call with the DNC yesterday.
If HRC goes too red or south she’ll miss the boat. That’s why I think Strickland of Ohio. If she wins all the states Gore and/or Kerry won plus Ohio OR Florida, well...
He attended the Univ of Utah for a year and a half or so, I should have said that he never graduated college.
Learning can happen experientially no doubt about that, and Rove is bright and has a good memory as well as principles that guide him.
Rove is refusing to be interrupted by David. This is great theater.
No contest here.
Then I guess Donna Brazile was right when she told USA Today, "Karl outside the White House is more dangerous to Democrats than Karl inside the White House."
(hat tip to this article from US News & World Report collecting hostile press reaction to Rove's retirement announcment)
This is gonna be fun!
Bwahahahahah!
Jon Conyers is "investigating" on his committee whether Republicans & Gonzales had any hand in prosecuting him "so quickly"?
MTP isn’t on here yet; key question:
Did Rove remind Gregory that he himself (David) was a recipient of the leak (From Ari) and that Time Russert filed a false affidavit in the case?
On MTP Gregory had the KOS talking points down pretty well. He was reading from their fax looked like.
On the Cheney piece from 1994 the KOS dummies think they have the “smoking gun” phrases for NOT entering Baghdad.
Rove rightfully told him by 2003 the world had changed and MOST people recognized this. I wish Rove had said “he probably would have said the same thing on 9/10/01 and so would I”.
Agreed. Just like how Edwards didn’t help Kerry.
Dem Debate:
Obama agrees with Biden...and Clinton....and Edwards....and Richardson on what to do with/in Iraq.
LOL
[Obama is still stinging from the ‘nuke Pakistan’ remark and is trying to keep from re-inserting his foot in his month on the Iraq issue.]
Do I see an RNC Chairmanship in Rove’s future? He’s not the “talking head” type the job seems to require these days, but who knows?
