More than two years after enraging right-wing groups by ordering Terry Schiavo's feeding tube removed, George Greer still peers over his shoulder nervously at times.
In fact, the Florida judge told a rapt audience Friday at the American Bar Association's annual meeting, he even used an alias when he registered at his San Francisco hotel on this trip.
Two years ago, he said, someone in the Bay Area threatened to kill him over his decision to end life support for the brain-damaged Schiavo. And even though that person was prosecuted and jailed, Greer said, he's taking no chances.
"It is a little unnerving," he said. "I still can't see a strange car come down my street without wondering [who's behind the steering wheel]."
Greer talked about he and his wife had to be placed under 24-hour watch after Operation Rescue posted their home address and phone number on its Web site. All of their mail was checked by authorities and on one occasion dead flowers were delivered to their condominium with a note reading, "No Food, No Water" — a reference to Schiavo.
"It got to the point," Greer said, "that we felt a little trapped in our apartment."

So, you fell for media spin that “it was a three ring circus”. It really wasn’t except when the cops were arresting children and even a woman who accidentally got pushed on the sidewalk. I know the 2005 vigil was a homeland security experiment. By the time Katrina hit, it was clear that they could push citizens around by fencing them in and through intimidation but THEY DID NOT DO WELL IN THE RESCUE DEPARTMENT.
We have civil rights only as long as we’re able to fight for them ourselves. As soon as we must depend on others to protect us, we lose our civil rights.

Congress wasn’t even in session when the subpoenas to congress were dated. The entire govt killed her but Greer is the face of her barbaric death.

Michael Schiavo violated guardianship laws and should not have even been her guardian. May I recommend you read some Terri books (not his)and learn how Terri was set up and how Michael Schiavo was permitted by Pinellas judges to treat Terri worse than one of Vick’s dogs.
You missed videotape of Terri following directions and interacting. You missed audio of Terri visiting w/her father, laughing appropriately and what you also missed: TERRI BREATHED ON HER OWN AND WASN'T HOOKED ON MACHINES.

Willfully ordering the starvation and dehydration death of an invalid you deserve to live your life in fear, but not from any action that any man or woman on this planet might do to you.
You will face judgement for your actions, what that judgement may be is not for me to say, that is for God to render, but I cannot read the Bible and conclude your decision helped your case before him.
