Sometimes the propaganda is so obvious it’s almost funny.

An elderly Iraqi woman shows two bullets which she says hit her house following an early coalition forces raid in the predominantly Shiite Baghdad suburb of Sadr City. At least 175 people were slaughtered on Tuesday and more than 200 wounded when four suicide truck bombs targeted people from an ancient religious sect in northern Iraq, officials said. To make it even tastier, there’s another one from July 10, 2007, apparently featuring the same woman, holding another unfired round:

Is anyone here able to identify the type of these bullets? Are these used by our troops?

I’ve seen each of the threads posted on this for most of the afternoon. See keyword “bullet” I think I found and marked them all.

Look at the hands...and the eyebrows are painted on in both pictures, but are different.

Her eyebrows are obviously painted on. Understandable, since this was a well-planned performance for media cameras and she would have wanted to make sure and look her best. But what’s with the matching stripe running from just below the center of her lower lip to the bottom of her chin?

We used to call that 5:00 o'clock shadow.

The pair she’s holding look to me like 5.56 NATO cartridges, which are what the standard issue M-16 and M-4’s shoot. Could be wrong, but I have a small stash of ammo that sure looks similar...

He called the police to report "Bullets hitting his roof". They got there and checked the gutters...

To find pristine unfired ammo he had thrown there.

How can anyone be that ignorant?   This only validates my belief that corporal punishment is not wrong.

 It looks to be bigger than a .45 but not as long as a .50 BMG, maybe hardcast, polished, pristine, and unfired...which is a good thing because there's a little tip of a ballpoint pen sticking out the top. I'm thinking that's one of those special bullets that writes your death warrant before it zaps you.

 It looks to be bigger than a .45 but not as long as a .50 BMG, maybe hardcast, polished, pristine, and unfired...which is a good thing because there's a little tip of a ballpoint pen sticking out the top.
