The easy part of the Ward Churchill affair is over. The faux scholar and ethnic imposter was fired from the University of Colorado faculty for dishonesty in his academic profession, not for honesty in his radical politics.
Colorado citizens and taxpayers, acting through their elected regents, rightly rid themselves of a corrupt and treacherous employee. Churchill may sue all the way to the Supreme Court, but Chief Justice Roberts and his colleagues will finally uphold the board's action.
Now comes the hard part: thinking through what we the people mean by a great university in a free society, then finding the political will to reform our academic institutions accordingly.
"How Many Ward Churchills?," a 2006 report by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, concluded that abuse of the professor's podium to undermine the ideal of higher learning itself is common nationwide. Wild Ward appears to have many soulmates among the Boulder faculty.... Churchill's departure will do little to cure the wider intellectual rot you can sense on campus.
His former fiefdom, the Department of Ethnic Studies, proclaims online that ...
CU spends $22 million annually on diversity programs. This includes nearly 100 activities so tangled and varied - but none addressing intellectual or political diversity, of course - that administrators conceded to an Independence Institute researcher there's no complete list.

Although I haven’t read it I hear David Horowitz has a book out “The Professors: 101 most dangerous Academics in America” that paints a good picture about how infested with marxism colleges are today !!!
I think they just deleted all the comments.
Scratch that. They’re still there. They just weren’t loading up for some reason when I cleared my browser cache.
There is so much dead and rotted wood in academia - it’s dangerous to light a match on most campuses...
Here in Kalifornicate we have UC Santa Cruz —— a place of indoctrination so polluted by leftists, PC loons, perverts and ethnic racists since the 70’s that most on campus would self implode if they ever had to prove they they were not anti-America or anti-capitalists...
In the mid 70’s, I took a recruiting team of Engineering managers to UC Santa Cruz and asked to speak only to the top 10% of the graduating class in a number of fields...
I was shocked to hear that they couldn’t identify the top 10%, since they DIDN’T GRADE students on their work!
Well — that ended that recruiting trip... I informed my team we were leaving...
“Buying a pig in a poke” had real meaning at UC Santa Cruz....
Us conservatives need to find college’s that are right leaning...hey, I know that’s hard...but there are a few out there. What would these unversities do without conservative kids?
Make that the mid 80’s....
Sorry...
While I hate this sort of thing, why hasn’t the right filed law suit in order to break up the marxist professorial majority on campuses across this nation?
How can descrimination not be proven when something like 90% of the staff at these universities are moonbat leftists?

and for any place who refuses to grades their students.
Does this include the business department?
