COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- In a study co-authored by an Ohio State professor, whites were asked how much money they'd want if they had to live the rest of their lives as blacks.
The typical answer was about 15-hundred dollars.
Compare that to the one million dollars the same people said they'd need to swear off T-V for the remainder of their lives.
Psychology professor Philip Mazzocco from Ohio State's Mansfield campus says the findings suggest whites aren't bothered by the idea of being black. He says whites may be ignorant of the difficulties many blacks still face because of their skin color.
Cunning.
Shouldn’t the question be, “How much money would a Black Person pay to be White?”
Where but in America can you be born a poor Black boy and die a rich White woman?

I couldn’t agree more. I hope, in my kids lifetime, a pill comes out that changes their race from white to black, and then back again.
College is expensive, and hard to get into, unless of course you are of a ‘minority of interest’ and trying to get into an impacted educational institution.
Were my kids black, and not whiter than white, they may have a fighting shot at a) getting in with less than a 4.0 and a 1600 SAT, and b) paying for it.
Sadly, its got to be black, because Asians aren’t getting any breaks anymore either. To colleges, Asian is majority status.
So, when you factor in the welfare, the affirmative action, the occasional Jessie Jackson college scholorship when you falsely accuse a college sports team of rape, this means we are all paid up and can forget about that “reparations” nonsense?
Liberals say that “racism” is a “power” phenomenon. Therefore, in that blacks as a whole lack “power”, they cannot be by definition “racist”. Don’t you just love how liberals frame PC definitions for you. Katie Couric may believe this too.

Willie Cunningham, local radio personality, calls it right...it has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with “culture”. A man’s skin has nothing to do with acting stupid, blaming others, and failing to strive for greatness...but if your culture teaches you that those things are “normal”, then your culture is bankrupt, broken, and in need of fixing. And if you are foolish enough to have these facts staring you in the face and insist on looking the other way, it’s not your skin color that will keep you poor and stupid.

BTW, Fox's website had an article that was just appalling. It says that 80% of black women over the age of 40 are overweight. And half of those overweight black women are obese.

Actually, white people in NYC are often insulted as they walk down the street by “minorities”. They call them “whitey-boy”. It may be worse outside Manhattan.
I would expect that "poor white trailer park trash" would be much more likely to have a victim mentality that would make them thing they would be persecuted for their race.
I'm white and I recently dated a rather attractive black woman. I can't say I ever saw her treated differently because of her race. I saw her treated favorably because she was an attractive woman, but didn't see any evidence of racism.
I even took her to a NASCAR race where if you listen to liberals you would think there would be a concentration of white, racist rednecks. She made friends of lots of strangers around where we were tailgating and once again I saw nothing to make me think people were showing any racism.
I must admit I was a little nervous because I've been told how racism is a problem, and the whole taboo of an interracial couple might cause people to act differently towards us, however I never saw any evidence of it.
Of course the fact that she is attractive, outgoing, and doesn't act like a victim probably factored into that somehow.
It’d take a LOT more than $1500 (around a week’s pay ... a month’s rent ... car payments for 3 months ... good grief) to get me to change something so fundamental to my identity as my race, gender, religion, political persuasion, etc. I’m not sure there’s a price.
It would have nothing to do with changing from white to black ... but changing AT ALL. I’d suspect a black person would say the same thing if you asked how much it would take to get him to change to white.

I KNOW they were hassled becaus of their skin color, and I know that some blacks are definitley racists, like Sharpton, Jackson, etc.

No offense to my black/brown/yellow/red fellow citizens, but I’m quite happy being a white guy, and don’t want any money to change that. If I were black/brown/yellow/red, I would be quite happy to be who I am as well.

There aren’t many white kids in my extended neighborhood and virtually all of them can tell you some tales.
